Subway in Nanaimo

“I don’t usually write reviews but the employee named Erik who works at this location is absolutely fantastic and provided me with excellent customer service. He recommended I try my sandwich grilled which was an amazing idea and will always be getting it grilled from here on out. I’m very happy with the experience and will definitely be coming back to this location. 10/10 for Erik! Great employee.“

“First of all, super clean and the food was fresh and the trays were full and clean. But in my book, it is the staff that made me come back. I came in on June 16th, Erik served me so nice , polite and fast. I have an allergy that isn’t common he was super helpful guiding me in which bread contained that ingredient, no judging just compassion. He was so memorable that I came back the next day (as we are travelling from Alberta) I was again impressed as I observed his co-worker Nikka, she’s fast, efficient, kind to the customer and super organized. I can only say good job to the owners for having excellent staff in place. To the Subway corporation, I can only hope that you see my review and see for yourself the gem of employees that Erik and Nikka are and look for ways to advance their careers“

“I was at this location today. The amazing person behind the counter went way above and beyond on Christmas eve! I can't quite remember her name but the sandwiches you made for the homeless man and myself were absolutely delicious! Give this wonderful person a raise! Merry Christmas!“

“Really happy with the service and both the staff members.
They were friendly and sweet. We requested just an egg for toddler and staff member warmed it up and cut up in peices for us. Sandwich was made to perfection veggies did not fall all over and were evenly spread.

“Best location in Nanaimo. They just renovated their lobby, and it looks great. Staff here have always been friendly and consistent. Bonus points for using their own numbered menu item system properly (which isn’t a given). Props to Sam, who always engages with customers while building their sandwich. One of many excellent staff here.“

“Was greeted as I came in and advised they would be right with me (looked like they were putting a online order together).Appreciate them taking those 2 seconds to acknowledge me.Took my order and made sure to build the sub as I wanted(understood a little red onion is just a few piece...not a great big mitt full).“

“Food prep is great, store is clean, service is perfect. One gripe. So being cheap and watering down your pop machine.. I got a ginger ale with no fizz one day, poured it out, switched it up, same thing. Calibration is waaay off. Feels intended.“
