“I went to this subway because I was starving, but had no clue what to actually get so I asked this AMAZING human of a worker what he usually gets, and got his order. It was a Tuna sandwich, although I am not the biggest fan of tuna itself, that was damn near the best sandwich I have ever had. + amazing costumer service from the one and only, ADRIAN!! He deserves a raise for having such a great attitude, it made my day and I wish the best for him. Ask Adrian for his order!“

“Typical Subway franchise located in Helmcken Road. It’s within walking distance to Victoria General Hospital, Aroga Lifestyle Clinic, and multiple other important places of visits. I had a foot long sandwich: Nashville Style Chicken, and it was the same as other Subways I have had it at. Sitting arrangement is quite spacious compared to multiple other Subway locations I’ve been! Definitely a visit when you’re nearby and craving a sandwich!

The only probable downside I would say is there was only one staff present, one more would be awesome to accommodate increase in customers during peak hours.“

“I will say, there are a lot of subways on the strip of Shelbourne, north of Hillside. Three come to mind immediately. I choose this one.The sandwiches are made neatly and consistently, it's not too busy, and the parking is painless. Of course, it's a little out of the way, but that lends the a certain charm to the whole Torquay village thing.“

One would think these franchises are cookie-cutter organizations, however, It was proven that this owner works on another level. Amazing greeting, extremely clean store, a wonderful attitude and a genuine enthusiasm and care about the food being served. Offered excellent advice on flavour combinations and gave me small samples to try. All done very efficiently and quickly. Chris has several stores and I hope he and his family/partners acquire more. “went here this evening. there was only one person working and it was quite busy. he was also busting out tons of skip the dish orders and uber eats orders while taking customers. he’s did amazing! a shame he was all alone though. i think it’s really irresponsible of management to leave someone to work alone while so much is happening. despite that, the man working did a great job and our food came out perfectly.“
