“I’ve been coming here regularly in the mornings to grab a sandwich before work, and it has genuinely become my favorite way to start the day. The food is always fresh, made perfectly, and ready quickly — but what truly makes this location special is the service.

Clark consistently provides the most incredible customer experience. Every single morning he greets customers with a genuine smile and such positive energy - which, let’s be honest, is rare to find that early in the day. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is made just right, and you can tell he truly cares.

“Great place for a quick and fresh meal. The sandwiches were made exactly how I asked, with fresh veggies and good portion sizes. Staff were friendly and worked fast even during busy hours. The restaurant looked clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of options to customize my sub. Perfect spot when you want something fast but still tasty and filling. “Typical Subway franchise located in Helmcken Road. It’s within walking distance to Victoria General Hospital, Aroga Lifestyle Clinic, and multiple other important places of visits. I had a foot long sandwich: Nashville Style Chicken, and it was the same as other Subways I have had it at. Sitting arrangement is quite spacious compared to multiple other Subway locations I’ve been! Definitely a visit when you’re nearby and craving a sandwich!

The only probable downside I would say is there was only one staff present, one more would be awesome to accommodate increase in customers during peak hours.“

“A decent Subway, hard to rate lower as you are the one that customizes the sandwich after all but I think I caught the sole employee trying to close up early as it was later in the evening, and they did not seem to appreciate me coming in. Service 2/5.“

“Got lunch here and the subway guy didn't scrimp on the toppings like many subways. He loaded it up good. Most subways they're cheap and just sprinkle stuff on. 4 olives for a foot long, 2 gr pepper slices etc. Not this place. Guess where I'm going for a sub from now on?“

“I will say, there are a lot of subways on the strip of Shelbourne, north of Hillside. Three come to mind immediately. I choose this one.The sandwiches are made neatly and consistently, it's not too busy, and the parking is painless. Of course, it's a little out of the way, but that lends the a certain charm to the whole Torquay village thing.“

“For a subway this is as expected, ingredients all tasted fresh and as expected, the staff were quick and friendly, it can be a little hard to find it as it’s tucked away in the back corner of the parking lot, but it’s just a generic subway, nothing special but nothing wrong with it.“

“Subway is one of my favourite go-tos. Usually for a salad. It seems that the majority of fast food places have an off taste to their lettuce especially, but also their other veggies. Somehow Subway has figured out how not to ruin the taste. Service is usually good.“
