“had an amazing experience at Kabayan Cafe! The atmosphere is super cozy and Instagrammable — perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing with a good drink.
Their bubble tea is the best in New Westminster — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly sweet! I also tried their croffles and kakanin, and wow, what a treat! The Filipino desserts reminded me of home, especially the halo-halo, which was so refreshing.
They now serve hot steamed buns (Siopao) and shaken teas, which are must-tries! You can really taste the love in their food and drinks. 💕
The staff are friendly, warm, and always greet you with a smile. Whether you're Filipino or not, Kabayan Cafe makes everyone feel welcome.

“I ordered crispy kare-kare and my wife settled for seafood pasta. The serving although we ordered solo, can feed two people. I would say that I loved the crispy kare-kare and my wife was happy with her pasta. The owner and other staff are so warm and you can feel Filipino vibes as soon as you enter the restaurant (we went to Kingsway branch). Keep it up!“

“My friend Jing treated me for my birthday lunch @ Jav's Kaldero today. The food were all delicious. I love the TINOLA. It was very tasty! The butter shrimp were very big & tasty. “I had a great experience with my family at La Meza Grill. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Filipino flavor and the portions were generous. One of my favorites was the Lumpiang Sariwa! It was fresh, flavorful, and the sauce paired perfectly with the soft wrapper and filling.
The staff were friendly and the service was quick, which made the experience even better. Definitely one of the go-to spots in Surrey if you’re craving good Filipino food! 🇵🇭“

“Would I recommend Plato Filipino? YOU BET I WILL! 👏 I’m based in Nanaimo Vancouver Island and ive gotta say, a visit to Plato Filipino New West was a highlight of my trip and worth taking the ferry for! (Dont get me started with the ferry woes am i right? 😅) I devoured their Silog-All-You-Can and boy oh boy, i was full and ultimately satisfied: the daing and lechon kawali were crispy as they should, the tocino and longganisa were sweet & tasty, the eggs & sinangag were cooked to perfection! Food is one thing and customer service is another, these two, for me, go together (its a must!) that said, Shout out to JULES, APPLE & ANNA whom I had a pleasure of meeting! More power 🫡 Next time you’re visiting the mainland, make Plato Filipino a must-go for your pinoy faves & all-time comfort foods and you wont be disappointed, trust you me!“

“The premium Ube cake is the way to go! It deserves a spot being one of the wonders of the world. It is light, fluffy, airy, and full of flavour. It’s like biting into a cloud of bliss! Also tried the Ube chiffon cake but it was mainly a buttercream tasting cake which is not as good as the premium Ube cake but still good. The cakes are well decorated and a beautiful purple color. Would buy again :)“
