“The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.“

“I visited this breakfast joint after many years of being out of the country and I have to say that thankfully nothing has changed ( other than the prices ). We went there as a party of 6 and a high chair. I ordered one of their traditional breakfast dishes and truly enjoyed it. The place was packed so we had to wait about 30 mins. The Iranian server there is so kind and attentive to our needs and other staff were also very welcoming and helpful.“

“Decided to treat myself yesterday and it had been awhile since my last time eating here. This restaurant never disappoints! I ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito bowl and man was it ever delicious! The chipotle sauce that was drizzled overtop was just amazing and I would buy a bottle of it if I could! It was a large portion and worth every penny! Their wait staff are all very cheerful and friendly! One of my favourite places to go in the Westend!“

“I love Bon’s. They have a $3.00 breakfast, for anyone on a budget. The atmosphere is awesome, such a cool place to go to. You get your own coffee and water which I like. It is a family owned establishment, Bon is the dad. For three of us, four plates of food, three coffees was just over $40.00, which is super reasonable. It’s my favourite place to go for breakfast and I highly recommend it. 🧡“

“Hubby saw a series in Mikey Chan’s Strictly Dumplings on Youtube. So we checked it out, located in Presidential Plaza 2nd Floor food court. The food court is small, we ordered takeout. Line was long but it moves pretty fast. Their pork hock was their specialty and they had freshly prepackaged to go meal in a container. It was that fast & efficient.
The pork hock was tender & very flavourful, for $15, it was a steal. It came with rice drenched in that wonderful dark piggy sauce, a braised egg, sautéed potatoes strips & glass noodles & pickled marinated green long beans. The pickled green long beans paired very nicely with the dish. The portion was so big that it was a 2 meal deal for us. Highly recommend… !

“The food was very good here. I ordered the crepes with strawberries, and I’m honestly not too sure how to rate them. Usually when I've ordered crepes, they come with a filling or sauce or something... so getting just plain crepes with strawberries on top was unexpected. They were still light and nice, and the strawberries were fresh and crisp. It wasn’t a bad breakfast at all, and it was exactly what the menu said it would be, so overall it was okay.

Their buttermilk biscuit, though? SO much flavor. I loved it, and I would definitely go back just for that. They served the hot chocolate in a huge cup, which made the price feel worth it. The strawberry lemonade was very sweet but still flavorful. The French toast was nice, and the hashbrowns were great. Crispy on the outside, soft inside.

There was plenty of space to sit inside, and the booths were comfortable. They have a QR code you can scan on your table to pay online which was cool. We were served quickly, and the customer service was very nice. I actually left my biscuit on the table by accident, and when I went back five minutes later, they had already cleaned the table... but they kept my biscuit off to the side in case I returned. I was so happy about that!

This place is located near a mall, so there’s lots of parking available. I’d definitely go back.“
