“I've been hoping a Thai restaurant would open up in Port for years! I'm so happy. One of my favourite dishes is red curry. This is the best red curry I've had in Canada so far! Everyone enjoyed their food and the portions were good. Very tasty!“
“I love suggesting this spot! Their soups are delicious, and they've got great drinks. I love going there with either my grandma or my best friends, we check out the books or we just gather and socialize. The butter chicken soup I had once was SO GOOD! Very flavorful with spices, but not *hot* spicy, so everyone loved it :)“
“Sunday, dec5th at approx 230pm we went through the drive thru to get lunch for our kids, the women on the com was extremely rude and condescending. she had NO patients and had a very rude tone. half way through our order I said you know what, nevermind we will go somewhere else. when we got to the window, my husband asked her name and she refused to give it to us. I asked to speak to the Manager and she said no. I told her she had terrible customer service and we will be contacting her employer to complain. WOREST EXPERIENCE EVER.“
“This is a nice convenience store in the center of town in Port Alberni, located very close to the bus stop for the Tofino Bus. We could walk down and buy ourselves some snacks and drinks to carry on the bus. We visited the store when the bus took a break on its journey from Nanaimo to Ucluelet, in August 2019.“
“Very fast, on the main road, very convenient, there is a drive-thru and you don't need to get out of the car, but the women's restroom needs improvement, there is no hand drying equipment, two hand dryers are not working, and there are no paper towels. I don't know what the men's restroom is. It won't be better.Parking: There is a large parking lot“

“I go there to the Redford street 7/11 a couple times a week and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of laughs, they seem to remember who the regular customers are and what they get. Sometimes I stand back and listen to them and how they interact with customers and it’s always the same. They give a happy greeting and a pleasant reminder to see them again. They all try their hardest to move the lines. I’m sure the recent fires made it difficult for them to get a lot of supplies and items but they did the best they could with what was happening supplies at other stores were limited also this is Great store and staff thank you.“
“I love this place...locals meet here and there throughout the day, visitors come and go in waves sometimes, yet the staff always do their best to help everyone. I cant eat or drink anything from Tim Hortens white flour sugar and fructose etc all highly sweetened and high on the glycemic index. Nice to have healthy choices at Starbucks even if in a bit of a hurry!..“
“I don't know the name of the girl taking orders this morning in DT around 8am but she is phenomenal. She wasn't in backbooth because Marilyn was taking cash (Marilyn is also amazing). She is amazing and needs a raise!!! I used to be ASM at this location and I've never heard someone so polite and thorough at any Mcdonalds I've ever been to. Keep up the good work.“
“As a visitor from England, I have to say Grassroots café in Port Alberni offered some of the tastiest and healthiest food I've had on my month long Canadian adventure ( and superb coffee too, both times I went and ordered there). Friendy service from great people, can't recommend it too highly.“
