Though I initially misunderstood her demeanor, she is actually very kind and dedicated. It’s clear she works incredibly hard, and I truly appreciate the service she provides. This is a fantastic local spot that I recommend to everyone.“

“This place offers marinated meat and fish in a variety of flavours. Shubh took out the time to explain to us each and every option and is also very pleasing to talk to.
There is a Take-out menu which includes wraps, bowls and grilled meat/fish options. I tried the grilled Ajwaini fish and some fish pakoras that are actually grilled and not fried. Taste was amazing and they just melted in mouth. My husband tried the Chicken kebab roll, and he says its the best he ever had. All in all, a great experience. will surely visit again.“

“This is my third time coming to this restaurant, that says something. All korean chicken restaurants I’ve been to, this was the best in terms of taste and value of your money. The serving is big compare to other korean chicken restaurants.“

I tried the new Machoking flavor (BHC-style Machoking), and it was so good I literally scraped the sauce clean. It officially became my new favourite!! I used to love the mala flavour, but this one took its place.

Sometimes there can be a slight smell with chicken, but ordering strong-flavored options like mala or Machoking really covers it well and makes it much better overall.

“I highly recommend their chicken marinades. Nice variety, very flavourful and very fresh. The chicken always cooks wonderfully. The gentlemen there are always attentive and kind to me, as well.

Most recently during a visit, there was a miscommunication (which was my fault) asking about the breasts being sliced to allow the marinade to fully envelope the chicken (which they do to all the chicken breasts) and the man assisting me thought I wanted the chicken breast further sliced into smaller pieces. He left momentarily and went to do this for me, but then when I discovered what happened, they allowed me to take the other intact breasts and said they will find a use for the other chicken that was cut. A very kind gesture to accommodate my preference even though it was my fault. They’ve earned a loyal patron in me. Thanks again!“

The owner was so friendly and warm — you can really feel the care they put into the food and service.

“We went to the Krunchicken in Mission last night. Everything about the place - the food, the lady taking orders, the environment - were all top notch. We ordered all three kinds of bone-in chicken wings that were available as well as fries, yam fries, and other sides. Everything we ordered was FANTASTIC. Absolutely fantastic. “Every time I come, I come for one thing and one thing only: the full rack of ribs. These ribs are massive, and in my opinion, the best bang for your buck. It's juicy but firm, yet falls off the bone so easily. My preferred sauce is their maple cajun honey and has yet to disappoint me. The selection of sides is also a big plus with so much variety, though my go to side is their bacon cheddar smashed potatoes. You also get their coleslaw, a bit of the rice, and corn bread. Since the meal is so big, it can easily feed you for 2-3 meals. Overall, I would definitely come back and order this again. Sometimes I feel like I should try something else on my next visit, but I don't come often enough to make me decide that I'm gonna try something else when I know those ribs are an option. I would say though, the other meals from what I've seen have also looked very good. I highly recommend their ribs though!“

Service was great from start to finish. We ordered the pork bone soup + chicken katsu combo, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best chicken katsu I’ve ever had. We did the half-and-half, including the onion cream chicken, and wow. The chicken was insanely juicy—my boyfriend pointed out it’s probably because they use chicken thigh, and yep, it is thigh. You can really tell they actually care about the quality of the chicken.

They also had promotions going on, so our total bill came out to around $60, which is crazy for the amount and quality of food we got. Everything tasted fresh, comforting, and well done.

I genuinely can’t hype this place enough. It caught us completely off guard, in the best way. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’re bringing the kiddos too.“
