At first, I honestly thought this was going to be another touristy Chinese restaurant in Richmond. I was very pleasantly surprised.
The food is Yunnan-style Chinese cuisine, and while I can’t speak to its authenticity since I’m not an expert on Yunnan food, I can say that I really enjoyed it. The flavors felt much more nuanced and interesting than the typical Chinese food I’ve had in North America.

A lovely restaurant with some very unique Yunnan flavours. The food was overall very good, especially if you enjoy bold, savoury dishes. Some items are on the expensive side for what you get, which is the main reason I’m giving it four stars rather than five.
Service was top notch — attentive, friendly and efficient. The decor is beautiful and gives the restaurant a warm, distinctive atmosphere.
