“I read an article about Frank's food truck and thought to try his food and give him a support. I love that he is serving fresh local food that either he catches or buys from local fishermen. I tried salmon sandwich Cascadian and it was delicious. It is not cheap but this is high end food. Will come back for sure.“
“Ordered chimney Box with cinnamon, whip cream and dark chocolate. It took 6 minutes to be ready and staff let you know upfront. Friendly staff. Chimney cake melts in your mouth as it’s warm and tasty! Highly recommend for a treat. Size is pretty big for out liking. You can at least share with one or two people of you want a little treat or order one for yourself if you want to fully indulge in a savory treat!“
“"Flavorful Fusion Delight at Japadog: A Must-Try Food Truck!" If you're looking for a unique culinary experience that combines the best of Japanese and American flavors, Japadog's food truck is a hidden gem you won't want to miss. From the moment I approached the vibrant truck, I could smell the sizzling hotdogs and teriyaki-infused aromas that promised a delightful treat. The menu at Japadog is a harmonious blend of Japanese ingredients and classic American hotdogs. I decided to try their signature "Kurobuta Terimayo" hotdog, which features a juicy, high-quality Kurobuta pork sausage nestled within a fluffy, slightly sweet bun. The addition of their secret teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayo, and seaweed sprinkles created a medley of savory, sweet, and umami flavors that danced on my taste buds. Each bite was a delightful journey of taste and texture. For those seeking a spicy kick, the "Spicy Cheese Terimayo" is a fantastic choice. The hotdog is generously covered in spicy jalapeños, rich cheese, and their famous teriyaki sauce, offering a perfect balance of heat and creamy goodness. Japadog also caters to vegetarians with their "Vege Terimayo," a plant-based dog topped with the same delectable teriyaki sauce and Japanese mayo. The flavor profile of this hotdog was surprising and refreshing, making it a standout option for non-meat eaters. Aside from their fantastic hotdogs, Japadog offers sides like crispy shaked fries and unique drinks such as the refreshing yuzu lemonade. The service was speedy, and the staff was friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Japadog is a testament to how culinary fusion can create exceptional flavors. Their ability to infuse traditional American fast food with Japanese influences is nothing short of impressive. I left the food truck with a contented belly and a newfound appreciation for the art of gastronomic fusion. If you're in the mood for something out of the ordinary and absolutely delicious, make sure to track down Japadog. It's a food truck that truly knows how to turn an ordinary hotdog into an extraordinary dining experience.“
“My wife tried Mr. Shawarma on Robson last night and after she offered me a bite I had to go back and order one for myself - so good! As well, the personal touch and friendly vibe of the chef and team made my whole trip downtown feel worth it. I will build a trip to Mr. Shawarma into my downtown trips from now on!“
“These guys really know how to make your taste buds tingle with their flavourful menu. The staff is very friendly and quick with the orders. Finally they've opened up a restaurant and I can't wait to dine in! Congrats Dos Amigos!!!“
“Nothing to envy to other fancy burger places. Burdy is a must visit if you are in the area. The chicken parm sandwich is delicious and the fries are even better. Really happily surprised by the quality. You can enjoy their delicious food outside or sit inside the brewery for a beer. Fairly priced and fast service, would happily visit again!“
“One of the best restaurants in Vancouver! The servers were always friendly and smiling. They did an excellent job in balancing orders among all the tables. I never felt like my table was forgotten and I did not have to wait too long for my food to arrive. They have many delicious dishes, but I enjoyed the regular fried chicken the most! They were very crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside, not to mention they were perfectly seasoned. Given the large number and size of the chicken, I definitely got my money's worth!“
“Frying Pan hits a home run with their Korean fried chicken rice bowl - a dish that sets the bar sky-high. Juicy, crispy, and utterly irresistible, it's not just a meal but a revelation. Easily the best fried chicken experience one can savor. This food truck doesn't just serve food; it serves joy on a plate. A must-try for anyone claiming to be a fried chicken aficionado.“
“Tried the bbq and the hoisin chicken wraps and they're both excellent. Hugely recommend! The crisped up cheese and the green onion pancake wrap on them, respectively, were fantastic. Really thoughtfully crafted menu items. The al pastor from another day wasn't that memorable though, which I thought I'd like the most. Maybe it was just under-seasoned that day or something idk.“
“Omg these people are lovely. I came in my lunch time and they were busy but still managed to speak to every customer with a nice smile on their face ❤️ And food was amazing, I never found good vegetarian tacos anywhere and it was delicious. 100% recommended , they totally love what they do and appreciate their customers ❤️❤️ Deserve more love and business ?“
“Before covid I'd go to their truck down by Canada Place regularly but haven't been downtown much since. So when I googled for a new Mexican place I'd noticed at Fraser and 46th Ave recently Arturos also came up on Fraser St tucked away and hidden down in the industrial area, I'm told by the awesome worker there that it's their commissary kitchen for the truck, so it's not really a restaurant but I did notice a communal table with 6 chairs but not sure if that's available to eat there. Had the mucho macho soup, Mexican taco with carnitas and the Mrs. had a chicken burrito. It was all excellent and now the only problem is having this place so close to home with such affordable delicious food we may be in danger of ordering too often ?♂️ good problem to have!!“
“The gentleman operating the truck is super friendly, very nice to buy from. His food though... is delicious! I'm a big burger lover and his are tops in my book! The creative fusion if western and Asian cuisine is amazing.Highly recommended!“
“Picked up a selection of items from Say Hello Sweets earlier this year using my Plant Curious coupons! It's a small shop and the staff member had to unlock the front door to let us in (this was in the early evening). Their Ice Dream Sandwiches were great, they're a nice plant-based alternative to the regular chocolate/vanilla sandwiches. Although, they're not cheap at $8.50 per sandwich. They only had their Strawberry Freeze-Dried Ice Cream available at the time I went. These were our least favourite; they are so sweet, too sweet in my opinion. I suppose it's the cane sugar and coconut milk. I would skip this item and instead get their signature ice cream cubes. Meet Your Matcha is the best plant-based ice cream I've ever had. The matcha flavour is so potent, it's creamy and everything you want in an ice cream! The packaging is paper so it melts quite quickly (and gets sticky) when it's not kept frozen, so work fast when you're taking some out to eat. Would recommend overall!“
“I highly recommend the lunch set. It changes everyday, but our meal came with braised pork and egg, matcha soba, tamagoyaki, salad, and soup. It comes with one onigiri at standard price. The braised pork was okay but the matcha soba was my favorite.By themselves, the onigiri are a good size, though one isn’t fully filling. We got the chicken karaage, grilled unagi and egg yolk, and salmon and ikura. Each of them are filled very generously, though the unagi could use more sauce. The Takenaka soda is comprised of butterfly pea earl grey tea and calpico. I wouldn’t call it a soda, more like a virgin cocktail. It’s not super sweet and has an eccentric taste.“
“Love the concept! Ice cream sandwiches are fantastic to begin with, but when you add in gluten free and the ability to customize your own ice cream sandwiches so many incredible ice cream flavours, 10/10!The only reason I didn’t give this place a full 5 stars is because the cookies could have been a little better. But maybe it’s just the chocolate chip one that wasn’t the greatest. In any case, would recommend the mini ice cream sandwich!Parking: Side streets have parking!“
“I am a student in Emily Carr. I guess they are family, whenever I go there, they're always friendly and kind, lovely family!! I had two curry from here. Both of them were tasty and excellent deals! much chicken and veggies inside with good cooked rice♡I miss it today, it's already 2 12 pm “
“Great chicken, pretty nice salad underneath it. Their marketing kinda sucks cause I had no idea what they sold - who knows what "disco cheetah Korean food" is without any photos, or description until you walk up - but I went and looked finally cause there was nothing else around I felt like, and I'm glad I did.Great quality chicken. Some of the better Korean fried chicken I've had.“
“Food truck located at the back of the Electric Bicycle Brewery. We tried the kapow and snap burgers and they were both pretty tasty. Just a little pricey for a food truck. We ended up getting a beer at the brewery as there is no seating available by the food truck.“
“Went to an event and Moms did the food. It was amazing to try for the first time. Really inventive flavours. We ordered fancy sandwiches the day before from a local place and could not believe how much better Moms is. They obviously care about their food. Yum!“
“I have seen this food truck for a while and finally caught it when it's opened. Seeing not a lot of people I was wondering would it be good, but I was blown away. The skewers are cheaper than outside and just tasted so amazing. Seasoned perfectly and grilled to perfection. Eating outside with the setting sun definitely sets a good mood to enjoy the food.Definitely need to try the lamb kidney, chicken knee, chicken soft bone and meat, beef tongue, and must order the Naan, it is more Northern Chinese Naan bread, and it is so soft and pillowy, we ate both of them so quickly.A must try in richmond.“
