Lift Bar & Grill Reviews
Limited food selection and zero consideration for gluten free. Generally understaffed for volume of people, however once served the staff are excellent. Yvr needs to open another restaurant beside it so there is competition and some reason to make changes
Probably the best of the alternatives in Vancouver airport for international connecting flights. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
The sauce that comes with fish and chips was very good! I wish there were more fish options besides haddock. The karaage were too dry for me, but they were crispy. Diet coke comes with 1 refill, so make sure to get one!
A wall charger with USB-A is available at some seats, and they are functional. USB-C wall chargers are not available.
The time it takes to be seated is long because employees don't come out to check often. The restaurant needs more staff.

Lift Bar & Grill at YVR offers a limited food selection, particularly lacking options for gluten-free diners. While the restaurant is often understaffed, the friendly staff provide excellent service once served. The menu features items like the Bacon Cheeseburger and Lift Club Sandwich, which are noted for their large portions and taste. Recent reviews highlight caring staff members, such as one server who provided warm coffee and showed kindness and respect. However, some guests experienced slow service, such as waiting a few minutes even when the restaurant was nearly empty, and inconsistent service during their visit. The atmosphere allows travelers to sit comfortably with their bags and enjoy hot food, though the overall experience can be hit or miss. Overall, it is suggested that the airport consider adding more restaurants with diverse menus to improve dining options.
