About McDonald's

McDonald's is a restaurant that provides good food and generally good ambience and service. The location in Richmond offers an outstanding experience with exceptional, friendly, and warm customer service. The restaurant is spotless and bright, having been renovated to a modern look. The food comes out hot and fresh, and the positive energy is noticeable. Staff, including managers, are cheerful and uplifting, often working hard to make guests feel appreciated. For older persons or persons with disabilities, the staff will often bring food to the table.

However, service can sometimes be inconsistent. There have been instances of order errors, such as receiving a Big Mac and medium water instead of a medium Sprite, or receiving beef instead of a chicken sandwich, which customers may not realize until they get home. The ordering process via a food kiosk can take time when the system or restaurant is busy. Offers may come up as expired if it is close to midnight, and customers need to watch for mobile app offers only that can be applied at the kiosks. After ordering, customers can see their order number on the order board as it is being processed. Sometimes, if you order a single burger, you may be asked to pull around to the front to wait.

The renovation has led to some changes. The self-service soda machine is gone, which means customers cannot customize their drink themselves, and staff need more time to prepare drinks. The amount of seats has also been cut down significantly, leaving more empty space to stand and wait. Despite these points, many customers are impressed and plan to return.
