“This is located at the 3rd floor Annex of Aberdeen Center. It is not the easiest to discover this place unless you already know of that mini food court at the 3rd floor.
The chicken steak is pretty thick, not the typical Taiwan style that is pounded to a very thin texture. It still tasted good, but just different.
DO try the chicken skin. It is prepared like thing cuts of chips!
What is so good about it is they take out the fat later making the chips lighter on the stomach.“

“Parker Place food court is packed. Good luck finding an empty table! Stopped by this Taiwanese stall and went for the classics: Salt & Pepper Chicken with rice, plus the Three Cup Chicken & Braised Pork Belly combo. Solid, satisfying Taiwanese comfort food for a food court spot.“

It was quite fast despite being really busy. I prefer takeout from here as the seating for the food court is usually packed.
This time tried the chicken nuggets + rice set meal this came with veggies ,egg and tofu for $14. Chicken is always really fresh , hot and crispy.
Like most stalls it is cash only ( or wechat/ alipay I think ). Sometimes they also have offers / coupons through Fantuan app even for pickup.“

“I’ve been here a few times over the years, usually when Chuan Siang (Potelicious), which is just down the food court, is closed or on vacay. It’s not even in the same league but it’s still good. The noodles were a little over done, though other times they’ve been good, and the broth is on the sweeter side which may not be everyone’s cup of tea.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort.
The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly without being overbearing. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. I was especially impressed by how quickly our food arrived, despite the restaurant being fairly busy.
As for the food—simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I ordered pork hock, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and my dining companions were equally delighted with their choices. The ingredients were fresh, and you could tell a lot of thought and care went into the preparation.
To top it off, the dessert was a delightful end to an already perfect meal. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a night out with friends, or a family gathering, Uncle Lu’s is an excellent choice. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.“

“The food came out really fast and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and provided great service to our group. I could see improvements compared to previous reviews. Wish they keep up the good work. The only downside was the ordering app ..it felt a bit cheap and wasn’t very user-friendly.“

“We’ve visited this place several times, and the food never disappoints — always tasty and satisfying.
The prices are reasonable and the service is consistently good.
Just a tip: avoid public holidays or rush hours if you’re starving, haha!“
