“This was the busiest McDonald’s I’ve ever seen. I asked the lady to just cancel my order because I didn’t have time to wait. She was extremely helpful and kind and helped get my order rushed.

“I’ve been going to this A&W location for 3 years. And now, I will leave a review. The food is always exceptional in comparison to other fast foods. (e.g. McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King.) The slight price hike in comparison to these chains is worth the raised quality of product you receive.

Service is outstanding as well, with an example being when I received a bacon, egg n cheese when I ordered a sausage. When I inquired with the worker at the front, I was immediately given a second breakfast sandwich without further questioning.

The atmosphere is good as well. However, sometimes there can be instances of tables being not cleaned after being used. Although, it’s the customers' moral responsibility to clean up after themselves; at least good enough for another person to use it afterwards.

Vegetarian options: There are no true vegetarian options as, Beyond Meat burger patties are cooked on the same surfaces as their standard beef patties. As well as, fries being cooked in the same oil as the chicken products.

Dietary restrictions: As for dietary restrictions, you are able to ask for a change of sauce, or removal of it entirely, and burger toppings can be removed and added to your liking.

Parking: Abundant parking. But, can be difficult to find a spot by the entrances.

Kid-friendliness: Has kids meals. Front staff are often handing out root beer lollipops to kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator that connects the top and bottom floors of the mall to get to the A&W.“

“The young lady at the drive through was very polite and quick. I have to RAVE that seeing the “You are Enough” Sweaters that the owner had given them to wear as a Christmas gift was absolutely the best thing I have ever seen when it comes to uniform. I am not sure if A&W have adopted this but it’s fantastic and they should do it across the franchise!!!

“I found this place while waiting in a ferry line with 2 sailing waits to the mainland. We had lunch and roamed the facility we came across so many things that were right up our alley , kayaking , tours , and a nice place to eat. They even have a boat launch. We decided to extend our stay , got out of the line up , got a VRBO, and explored.Best decision for us we had a great time. The staff at the marina took care of so well, better than BC ferries could. What a Great stay. I would recommend this place to all.“

“Attended for an event as part of a conference. The staff were quite knowledgeable and the service was excellent. The wrap I had fell apart when I tried to pick it up though, and while they offer a vegan option for the quesadilla it would be without vegan cheese substitute which wouldn't give the filling anything to stick to. Please add more full vegan options. Other than that, highly recommend it.“

“Last Saturday, I ordered the Romeo special pizza, which was delicious. However, the yam fries were not good, especially the sauce, which was way too hot. The waitress was also unpleasant. She brought the bill and card machine, even though I hadn’t asked for them. That made me unhappy.“

“Last night was the 1st time that a window person was genuinely happy and pleasant. She was smiley and quick, grateful for the business and made our visit feel good. The place was very busy as one can imagine Dairy Queen to be mid-summer, so her attitude was remarkable. The Blizzard was decent too.“

“This was the second year in a row we had my sons bday party at this McDonald's. Each year we show up grab a table and just have our own balloons at the table and get the kids settled there. It was easy each year to grab a large table. We buy happy meals for the 6 kids we have there and then send them off to play in the awesome playolace. Cath helped us with this large order and then brought it all out with party hats for the kids. As soon as we arrived the manager Cath and her team approach us and ask if they can do anything for us to help. They then ask if they can make things special for our child by giving him a decorated muffins with a candle, take the kiddos to make their own mini cream cones and to top it all of the entire staff and kitchen break out into happy birthday for our little guy. I have never felt so touched by a restaurant and their team anywhere, let alone a McDonald's. This location and it's team are an absolute gem! All the kids were so happy and excited. I teared up from all the love, care and kindness of this staff. Cath is a very special person, a ray of light everytime we see her. She made sure this day absolutely special for me and my family. We didn't book the party room, but we were still important to them. Thank you so very much to you and your entire team Cath! ♥️“
