“I recently visited The Filipino Noodle Joint and had an overall positive experience, but with a few minor aspects that could be improved. First, the food quality was exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were vibrant and well-balanced. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was made with fresh ingredients, and it was clear that a lot of care went into preparing the meal. The attention to detail in the cooking really stood out, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Angelo, the server, was outstanding. His service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and quick to address any needs. It felt like he genuinely cared about making the dining experience special, which added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. The owner was also incredibly friendly and made a point to stop by our table and chat. It was clear they take pride in their restaurant and care about their customers. This kind of genuine hospitality is always a great sign of a well-run establishment. As for the location, while the restaurant itself was cozy and welcoming, it’s situated in an area that could use a bit more attention. The surroundings might not be the most vibrant, and parking can be a challenge during peak hours. While this is ultimately outside of the owner’s control, it is something to keep in mind when planning your visit. Overall, this restaurant offers great food, outstanding service from Angelo, and a welcoming atmosphere from the owner. If the location improves over time, it would truly make this spot a hidden gem.“

“This is our go-to restaurant whenever we don’t know where to go, we know the food here will always satisfy our cravings! I highly recommend the clay pot rice, it’s a must have! The rice is crispy on the outside and so flavourful with their customized sauce and meats! Just make sure to order it right away since it takes about 30 minutes to make.“

“I think I've been there about 4 times. The tteokbokki with a whole squid on top was amazing. It's delicious, but the visuals are the best.
The restaurant was cozy.
The hotdog tasted like the one I had in Korea. It was filled with mozzarella cheese. I ordered the hotdog wrong, but it was better than what I ordered. If you haven't tried tteokbokki yet, give it a try.“

“My favorite place to get Pho, it's my go to spot for lunch when I'm craving soup.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and most importantly they are fast. The food is consistent and it tastes exactly like the way it should be made.

The Vietnamese Sub is also great! And though they take longer I know that it's always freshly made.

My favorite take out order is the Lemon grass chicken rice. It's just very good.“

“I've been coming to Full Ramen since it opened, and I go several times a month. It is the best ramen place in Surrey, hands down, and I always bring friends and family there. It's always worth it to go in, though I have it delivered from time to time as well. My favourite is the classic Tonkatsu ramen and I get it without the wakame because of my personal taste, but if you're a fan of it then keep it in. Lovely staff, she knows me and knows my order by heart which I appreciate.“

“Stopped by for a snack after getting some groceries and they had the best original rice rolls we've ever had! The soy sauce wasn't too salty, the rolls were perfectly tender yet slightly springy, and the sesame seed topping was a nice touch. Really liked the side of peanut sauce & oyster sauce too!“

“Dr. Phan is an exceptional doctor. Very good with kids that are naturally nervous around doctors. The facilities at the island Foot Clinics are very clean and orderly and you do not feel intimidated at all. I'd be bringing my child here as he is in need of a very good podiatist. Found that here at the Island Foot Clinics.“

“I was very nervous about trying out this Restaurant, located inside the same space as the T&T in the mall. I wasn't sure about how good a restaurant located in an area like this might be. I'm very happy to say I was completely wrong to be nervous. This Pho is some of the most delicious in the area, and offers very good portion size for the pricing. The fact it's located in the mall gives it an edge on other similar restaurants in the area, as you don't have to leave in order to enjoy a bowl. I heavily regret that I hadn't given it a chance earlier, and I hope that others might read this and do so. If the owners do read this, thank you for proving me wrong, and I can't wait to return again!“

“The deep fried lean pork slice with sweet and sour sauce was amazing. The beef stir-fried noodles recommended by the server were also incredibly delicious. The restaurant was quiet since we were the only ones there. I’ll definitely come back next time.“
