“Ordered an iced americano and the three-cup chicken to go. Service was amazing, the gentleman behind the counter had such uplifting positivity- it really brightened my mood. After a short wait with my coffee, my meal was ready and the staff member behind the counter informed me that they still had many baked goods from this morning left over (it was 1:30pm) he asked if I would like anything. The doughnuts looked quite tasty so I said that I would have one of those and took out my wallet. He said he wanted to give it to me for free and would not accept my money. I felt bad as I had not tipped for take out. I will definitely return and tip next time to return the favour. Amazing establishment would give it more than five stars if it were possible.“

“Decided to treat myself yesterday and it had been awhile since my last time eating here. This restaurant never disappoints! I ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito bowl and man was it ever delicious! The chipotle sauce that was drizzled overtop was just amazing and I would buy a bottle of it if I could! It was a large portion and worth every penny! Their wait staff are all very cheerful and friendly! One of my favourite places to go in the Westend!“

“The legendary cheap diner of Vancouver that has thier all day breakfasts with still some options being the same for years. You can eat well for very cheap, and for a little extra touch bring a paint marker or marker and get ready to add your tag or touch to the venue, messages across time throughout everywhere from your seat to the top corners of the walls. Great cheap diner vibe.“

“I've been on the drive forever but somehow never managed to come in here. I guess I thought it was mostly vegetarian with no meat and boy was I wrong!

We came in on a Saturday for brunch and the service was exceptional and I loved the chill vibe of the music. The food was amazing and the drinks were great. I tried the classic and the chorizo Benny highly recommend this place! 10/10“

“It’s shocking that this locale is closer to 4 stars instead of 5 as I found it to be a 5 star experience across the board.

The staff were super attentive and nice. I had turned my waffle chicken Benny into a bowl and did not interpret the removal of bread and fruit to also mean the waffle was gone. The manager/owner overheard my question and added waffles on the side at no extra charge. Super cool of him!

The food is also phenomenal. Waffle was super fluffy, chicken juicy and crunchy, and the beignets were better than those we just at Disney World. Actually full and fluffy. I found the potatoes to be a bit perfume-y but I still ate them all. Would likely opt for the tots next time but not a complaint. Wife loved her crispy avocado Benny.

“I grew up going to De Dutch - so everything about it feels like nostalgia for me. The pannekoek taste exactly the same every time - which is what I’m looking for.

This specific location was a little lacking on the service. Everything was just a little bit slow this Sunday morning. I suspected they may have been short staffed - though it was the same when I was there the year prior. But overall, I’d go back without hesitation.“
