Wonderful, intimate restaurant with delicious food and gorgeous decor. I’ve been meaning to visit since they opened but somehow never made it in. Very glad I finally did! The aburi salmon belly don was fantastic as was the burnt pork jowl don. The tomato dashi added a lovely “comfort food” note. Enjoyed the roasted beet and feta salad as well. Had a lovely lunch here, delicious food and gorgeous interior! Highlights were definitely the short rib poutine and braised beef short rib. Also had the salmon tartare, pork jowl don, french toast, and mocktails - everything was very tasty and service was friendly and attentive, great spot to get some unique dishes while in the area
Had an outstanding dinner experience here. I was expecting some kind of asian fusion, but it was so much more. The dishes were inventive, but somehow accessible and comforting. The entrees looked good, but we wanted to try a variety of items and Dons Choice, the prix fixe option, was the perfect choice.
