Great little neighbourhood coffee shop on Denman with a surprising number food options. Perfect place to hang out, if you’re local or visiting, to mingle with staff, or start your day. Nice outdoor seating and cozy ambiance indoors. Went in today, was served by two staff, both smiling and seems genuinely happy to be there. I always have the most incredible experience at this coffee shop! The manager and staff are so friendly and kind. They have created a community and a sense of belonging in the neighbourhood :) They also pull the absolute best espresso based drinks :))
The Caucasian guy that works here isn't friendly. Never asks how you're doing and always comes across as grumpy and cranky, like he doesn't want to be there. I've always seen him on weekend mornings. They could all learn to smile and be a little friendlier, especially him. This review is for the Denman location.
