“I recently visited Romilano Pizza and had an awesome experience. The pizzas were amazing—crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. I went with the Margherita, and it was simple but perfect. The flavors really came together, especially with the smoky touch from their wood-fired oven.

We also tried the baked lasagna on the side, which was super tasty—nice and cheesy with the perfect balance of flavors. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was laid-back. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to for great pizza!“

“Found this little place while my husband and I were walking up Commercial Drive. All I have to say is " WoW! ". The pizzas were so amazing, light crust, non greasy and full of fresh toppings. They do their own seasoning and it certainly tastes like home cooking. My husband tried out the stromboli and he was so in love with it, said it was the best handheld item he ever had and it's so true. This shop is old school, Ma and Pa pizza place so people please support them. They aren't a franchise and certainly don't taste like one. 100% approved for quality, service. They have a street fighter machine in there too and also the music was very nice. Thank you , Auntie Jen's, we will be back!“

“Great pizza with some unique topping/flavor combinations. Their pizza by the slice are cut into sixth so they're larger than some other places. Staff are super friendly and I was greeted with a smile each time I was there. Prices are reasonable and they have deals online/in store. Takeout is the way to go as the place is tiny with only a few seats and a counter inside. The place can be hard to find as it's sandwiched between a Starbucks and Subway. There's around 10 parking spots out front.“

“This review is about this Abbott Street location. In particular about the people who work here. I've lived in Vancouver for 20 years and I've never seen exemplary customer service than I've consistently received from a young gentleman called Shubhh.

If you're a regular, you know exactly who I mean. He always greets you by name with a pleasant smile, remembers your orders, goes above and beyond in accommodating your preferences. He still asks for my mother's health, who was visiting me about two years ago and was poorly.

In a world that's inherently transactional, and at late night pizza place at that, Shubhh somehow is an example of how to bring humanity to a very ordinary exchange. Getting late night pizza, while occasionally inebriated.

Anyway, pizza is pizza, and Uncle Fatih's is decent and consistent. Honestly, better quality toppings than you'll find in similar establishments open late.

While pizza is pizza, good and kind human beings are rare. And so this is both for readers of this review, and for employers of Shubhh.

“I've been going to this pizza place for a very long time. Most of the time with the previous owners. The new owner is very nice and the pizza is very much the same as the previous owners, except that the new owner has added some selections, which is really cool. “We love this little place. We come all the way from Portland, OR just to get their vegan tiramisu. The entire menu is great. The service and staff are great. It is in a cute place and neighborhood right on Main street.

We travel to Vancouver a couple times a year and The Grano is the first place we stop after our long drive there.

The name of the store has changed, but they still serve the Grano menu. Same owners, same food, diff name.

Two thumbs up and a huge recommend.

“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“After trying most of the pizza joints in the West End, I have to say this branch is sitting happily at the top for us. The toppings are great quality and quantity, and the pizza isn't dripping in grease to the point that the box is soggy like some other places. I always judge my pizza based off of how it tastes cold the next day, and these ones are an A+ leftover pizza as well.“

“Decent tasting fare for a pizza by-the-slice counter located in Metrotown foodcourt. At least six different variety of pizzas to choose from, including vegetarian. We had tried the butter chicken and vegetarian and found both delicious. Our slices were of a good size, loaded with ingredients. Our slice+drink combo seem good value for money. Service was fast and friendly. Metrotown foodcourt seating is plenty, spacious, bright and clean.“
