“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“We recently celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with an amazing dinner at Nightingale! There were 12 of us and had a family style dinner, which every plate that came out was amazing. I wish I lived in Vancouver because I would frequent Nightingale weekly. Service was prompt and they were consistently keeping the drinks flowing.“

We had a bit of a hiccup with our reservation. My friend initially booked for 4, then called and emailed to change it to 6. They assured us it would be fine, though a bit tight. Unfortunately, it seems this wasn’t communicated to the restaurant. When we arrived, the table was clearly meant for 4. The three of us had to squeeze tightly on one side, and an extra chair was placed at the end of the table, right near the door and coat rack, which wasn’t ideal.

That said, the food more than made up for it! Everything we ordered was delicious. As an appetizer, the arancini was fantastic, though slightly bitter. The Parker House rolls were outstanding. For the mains, we all tried each other’s dishes, and the unanimous favorite was the beef cheeks—absolutely tender and flavorful. I had the cacio e pepe, and as a Brazilian, I thought I’d miss having protein, but it was perfect and so satisfying.

For dessert, we ordered three different ones to share, and while they were all great, the standout was the amaretto semifreddo.

Despite the table mix-up, the food and service were amazing, and I’d definitely come back, when I can $$ lol (be prepared)

Parking: Be aware that the parking lot (in front) door close automatically at 10 PM sharp. We were just a minute later leaving and were almost locked inside!“

“Went to visit this store at 2418 Granville Street with my friends and had a great dine-in experience. We ordered a half and half pizza, one side loaded with cheese and the other with my favorite and fresh veggies. The crust was perfect, and the flavours were on point.

“Found this little place while my husband and I were walking up Commercial Drive. All I have to say is " WoW! ". The pizzas were so amazing, light crust, non greasy and full of fresh toppings. They do their own seasoning and it certainly tastes like home cooking. My husband tried out the stromboli and he was so in love with it, said it was the best handheld item he ever had and it's so true. This shop is old school, Ma and Pa pizza place so people please support them. They aren't a franchise and certainly don't taste like one. 100% approved for quality, service. The staff were friendly and have good recommendations for portion sizes.
