Based on the reviews, Sake Maki is a low key, family spot with friendly, down to earth service. It is a nice mom and pop sushi restaurant with affordable prices and daily rotating specials. The food is fantastic, with fresh ingredients. The poke bowls are great, and the agadeshi tofu is loved. The wonton soup is bangin and can be bought frozen to take home for $8. The spicy tuna roll is the best ever, with the best spicy sauce. The beef teriyaki roll is a favorite, and the BOGO dynamite roll is bomb with crispy and fresh prawn tempura. The sashimi sushi combo has fresh sashimi fish that melts in your mouth and comes with miso soup. The oyster motoyaki is good, and the shrimp tempura batter is thick but tasty. The nigiri has a perfect rice to fish ratio. The atmosphere is adorable and inviting, and the staff is friendly and efficient. This is a solid place for typical sushi and an incredible sushi experience.
