“Although they don’t serve food I had to give them 5Stars anyway because these drinks are simply the best. As a person who abstains from alcohol this bar and these bartenders make the BEST de-alcohol used drinks anywhere. Best armosphere, room, music, drinks and service. Such a lost art but this place really makes and reminds you what actual brilliant service should look like. Thanks, Citrus and Cane.

“We came in for a drink before dinner at the nextdoor Irish pub and had so much fun we stayed for another drink. The bartenders were so friendly and funny, and gave us great recommendations of other places to visit around town. The theme and vibe were incredible, we tried to come back the next day and sadly they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This is a MUST visit in Victoria!“

Restaurant is large - it has great ambience, the layout provides a personal and intimate feeling despite there being many tables. The food is superb, we plan on returning to make our way through the great menu. It is the best place we have eaten at in Canada for food, service and ambience. We highly recommend the seafood tower as a way to taste through some of the menu. The grilled octopus rivalled what we have eaten in Italy. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and expertly curated.“

“INCREDIBLE. I hope that this business makes money hand over fist, because they're hitting the nostalgia G-spot of every age demographic. Live dj. Fresh pizza. Group Mario Kart. Probably 30 pinball machines from every era. Impeccable service. Quality merch. Literally the only detractor is the fact that they only have 2 single washrooms, but this is likely due to the building structure and out of their control. I can hardly wait to go back, and encourage every visitor to Victoria to go.“

“This is one of the best restaurants in Victoria. The food is incredible, portions are large and diverse, and the location/vibe are great. I had the bulgogi lunch special this week - sauted beef with cabbage, veggies, sauce - and it came with soup, rice and an assortment of side dishes. Really great price for a large meal. I'd highly recommend.“

“we always enjoy the welcoming atmosphere where the staff greet you like you have been missed. We appreciate that we come very often and they are always glad to see us. This also includes the owner, as well as all the staff. We have not had a bad meal yet and eat their often. The food is always very good and authentic. It is a very clean and professional site and the drinks are above par. Most ingredients are made in house and the staff and owners work together constantly to improve their game, try new things. Always impressed at the Palms. Always feel special at the Palms. We will continue making this our home away from home!“

“Incredible pizza and service. The variety of pizzas is a mix of traditional and innovative, the ingredients were fresh and the pizzas were cooked to perfection. Our server (Aiden) was charming and knowledgeable and made the dining experience delightful. The restaurant is small and nested beside a Starbucks in a hotel, so the atmosphere could be a bit better, but the great food and service more than made up for it.“

I’ve eaten in some of the fanciest Japanese restaurants in some of the world’s biggest cities including Vegas, Vancouver, San Francisco, Toronto and more. This was absolutely the best out of all of them. The deep fried little crabs were amazing. The staff was wonderful and the owner was fantastic and so generous. Thank you for the great Father’s Day meal.“

We ordered the steak and seafood platter for 2. food was fabulous, too much for us to eat. My only issue would have been i had to ask for ice water.“

“Stopped by the bar about 30min before closing to grab a quick take out of BLT salad and soft pretzel bites. Since I was one of two customers in the bar service was pretty darn quick.

Once we got what we ordered we left and ate along the way home. The BLT was mostly iceberg lettuce, not a fan and a small bit of bacon stuffed into a corner, a bit disappointed. The pretzel bites were fine except the sauce was not for me, I'm sure it would be acceptable for 90% of people, but for me it tasted a bit off.

Aside from the food the service was fantastic. Freindly and helpful. Think I will swing by next time I'm in town when I can spend some time to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a proper meal.“
