The Wine Shop manager Jerome is so knowledgeable - if you really want to learn more about wine, he is a great resource. The happy hour at the restaurant upstairs (Modest Butcher currently 3-5 PM ) has some delicious options for both vegetarians and carnivores. Their Reserve Chardonnay is so beautiful for chard fans who are looking for high quality on a budget!“

“I had a standing order of salad rolls for the entire winter of 2025 and it was one of the best things I ever did. The curry buns, bean curd, vegan basil cakes, and dumplings ….. sigh. I also get the lemonade with just a touch of sugar and they come in the best cups, I put them through the dishwasher and use them for drinks i make at home after. Asking where the high chair would be best situated, bringing him a little set of his own cutlery and a plate and cup. It was really nice to see the detail and prep toward kids in the restaurant. “We were a small retreat group hosting in West Kelowna, and swung by Kekuli a day or two beforehand. Since we tried to breakfast bannocks, they were able to accommadate a last minute order for our group of 7. The ladies had a filling and yummy breakfast that kept the group full until lunchtime! Be aware that the bathrooms are a free for all - there may be a dude on a toilet next to you. It is at the best - very awkward.
