“This was our first time here. We chose it because we had to have a meeting and this was a central location with some coming from the Sunshine Coast. I normally am not a fan of pizza, once a year is good enough for me. However, that has now changed. This pizza was so fresh and tasted amazing, especially the crust! I asked for light sauce and the amount was perfect. The owner was very accommodating, some wanted coffee which they don't serve, but he allowed us to pop down the block and grab one from Starbucks and bring it back to have with our meal. The regulars were super friendly and at lunchtime was pretty busy with a lot of workers coming in for lunch. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!“

- excellent pizza
- gorgeous views of the harbour and ocean beyond
- you can walk up to the trestle bridge after you inevitably eat way too much pizza (it's SO good) and work off some calories
- the vibes are vibing at all times

Cons:
- if you don't get one of the tables in the covered area, there's NO shade on the lawn. Recommend to bring an umbrella or shade tent on a hot day
- the bathroom situation is lacking. While better than an outhouse or porta-potty, there is often a line for the washrooms and they are often dirty and overflowing with garbage“

“Lovely little spot by Horseshoe Bay! The pizza was fresh, light, and delicious — no grease, just great flavor. They make the dough from scratch with only five ingredients, no additives or preservatives, and you can taste the quality. The cheese was amazing, and the staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

“This restaurant is family run and it shows. We came in at the end of the night with the restaurant being near closing, though he couldn't allow us to eat-in the owner did allow us to order carryout.
While we waited he regaled us with stories of the history of the restaurant and area.

“Found this little place while my husband and I were walking up Commercial Drive. All I have to say is " WoW! ". The pizzas were so amazing, light crust, non greasy and full of fresh toppings. They do their own seasoning and it certainly tastes like home cooking. My husband tried out the stromboli and he was so in love with it, said it was the best handheld item he ever had and it's so true. This shop is old school, Ma and Pa pizza place so people please support them. They aren't a franchise and certainly don't taste like one. 100% approved for quality, service. “We love this little place. We come all the way from Portland, OR just to get their vegan tiramisu. The entire menu is great. The service and staff are great. It is in a cute place and neighborhood right on Main street.

We travel to Vancouver a couple times a year and The Grano is the first place we stop after our long drive there.

The name of the store has changed, but they still serve the Grano menu. Same owners, same food, diff name.

The staff were friendly and have good recommendations for portion sizes.
The pizza was good, we tried the pesto one with ricotta and loved how light it was. The ricotta was refreshing too. We also had the garlic bread which was disappointing though. It was more of a lightly garliced pizza than cheesy garlic bread.“
