“This was our first time here. We chose it because we had to have a meeting and this was a central location with some coming from the Sunshine Coast. I normally am not a fan of pizza, once a year is good enough for me. However, that has now changed. This pizza was so fresh and tasted amazing, especially the crust! I asked for light sauce and the amount was perfect. The owner was very accommodating, some wanted coffee which they don't serve, but he allowed us to pop down the block and grab one from Starbucks and bring it back to have with our meal. The regulars were super friendly and at lunchtime was pretty busy with a lot of workers coming in for lunch. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!“

The pizza tasted good - good like they used quality ingredients and made them in a “non-fast food” manner. That being said, I’d be hard pressed to find that people are coming here for the food or beer. It is very much the unbeatable location perks and surrounding attractions that is quite magnetic.

Cypress Pop-up village is definitely worth a visit - family friendly, view friendly and just overall really great vibes.

“To be fair I was quite amazed how good the pizza is. The base is absolutely amazing. I had Quatro Formaggi pizza and it was delicious. If they would be able to bring just slightly more taste into the tomato base it would be perfect. Also the pizza was ready within like 10 minutes. Definitely coming back when I'll be around.“

“We had an absolute blast in this dominos, I ordered a Double pineapple nacho flavoured thicc crocodile-meat ghost toilet joint XXL size pizza with calves-foot and sprinkled with olives in tomato juice while my wife ordered a Large Canadian pizza, while we were waiting some guy with a giant speaker came in and started blasting music that our pizzas that were in the oven started dancing, along with all the crumbs on the floor, then the same person brought in a bathtub and filled it with uncooked pizzas, there were also rats eating the uncooked pizza like if it was a midnight snack, we also had school kids come into the dominos and started screaming that Chuck E. Cheese is much better than Pizza Hut, which doesn’t make any sense because that’s a dominos, the kids got eaten by freddy fazbear when our pizzas were finally cooked, my wife’s pizza ended up baked with blonde hair inside of it and complained, but the employees took her and threw her in the toilet, and then Freddy fazbear ate the workers, this is the best dominos to exist“

“Owner is super friendly. Pizza was good. Had the pepperoni and donair pizza. Both delicious. Crust is really crunchy and light. They also have donairs starting at 1pm. Owner said they sell out by 4. They must be good. I’ll try that next time I’m in the area.“

“This restaurant is family run and it shows. We came in at the end of the night with the restaurant being near closing, though he couldn't allow us to eat-in the owner did allow us to order carryout.
While we waited he regaled us with stories of the history of the restaurant and area.

“If you haven’t tried Panago’s salads yet.. you must! They are packed with a variety of veggies, cheese etc and fairly priced! I always add extra chicken, and I’m obsessed with the chipotle cilantro dip, I hope they never get rid of this dip! I often pick up the southwest salad on my lunch break. This location is consistent with the quality of their food and service. If you have an issue with anything you can contact them and they make it right. I love their pizza but I highly recommend their delicious salads as a healthy alternative!“

“Love coming to Crema for the location next to the beautiful Ambleside park and the view of Stanley Park right outside the windows. Grabbing a coffee and sitting outside on a bright day out is always fun, as is sitting inside the cosy interior when it rains. We had the bacon cheddar scone and a spinach feta scone today, with a brewed coffee and tea. Scones were great, perhaps they need a little reheating, but the texture is fluffy and crusty in equal parts which leaves a wonderful mouthfeel.

Vegetarian options: Lots of good choices in sandwiches and scones as well as any number of other pastries!“

“I have been wanting to write this review for awhile now but haven't had the opportunity to sit down and do it properly without rushing through it. My wife and I had finished shopping at The Brick Furniture store around 12:30 PM, on October 8, 2024, which is located next door to this Freshslice Pizza location. We had never dined at a Freshslice Pizza outlet before but thought we would give it a try. From the moment we entered we were very impressed with the sole young female employee running the store all by herself. She was amazingly friendly, polite, organized, helpful and hardworking. We were not sure of what to order and she gave us some suggestions and stated she was just making a fresh peperoni pizza. There were several others customers in the store dining and numerous others coming in to pick up pizza's and other products. I have no idea how she handled everything?, it was like there were 3 of her running the shop. She was making pizza's, packaging food, serving people, taking payments and as we were finishing eating she was cleaning tables and the restaurant. If I was her boss, I would give her a raise and promotion. This young lady is management material and should have her own store to run. Now the pizza, we sampled 4 different types of pizza and they were all excellent in taste, quality and price point. Excellent value for your money. My wife who isn't a big pizza fan stated, "this is the best pizza I have ever ate in my life"...she loved the sauce and stated this pizza is not salty like other pizza's........and she told the young employee the same thing. The little restaurant isn't very big or fancy, but it was very clean and organized in no small part to this employee. This evening my wife said she wants to eat Freshslice Pizza this weekend again..............this would never have happened in the past, it was always me suggesting to have pizza........yippee for me as I love pizza!!!! Freshslice Pizza is our new favorite pizza place. If you have never tried this brand of pizza before you need to give it a try. We hope the quality and service are the same at other locations near where we live.

NOTE: I just read another review about this store from 5 days ago so I am making an edit (more of an addition) to my review to include: The review stated the store was sold and that the service and quality of pizza has gone from 5 out of 5 to 1 out of 5 with 3 employees working...........what a shame................I hope the employees that are no longer working there have other jobs. “Their price point is reasonable, but more importantly, the pasta dishes are to to die for. The homemade meat sauce infused with garlic and onions is a staple for their spaghetti bolognese and lasagna dishes. If you are a pizza lover, try the variety of thin crust pizzas and the variety of toppings they have to offer. Really good quality and tasty food. I order their pasta on a weekly basis.“

“Found this little place while my husband and I were walking up Commercial Drive. All I have to say is " WoW! ". The pizzas were so amazing, light crust, non greasy and full of fresh toppings. They do their own seasoning and it certainly tastes like home cooking. My husband tried out the stromboli and he was so in love with it, said it was the best handheld item he ever had and it's so true. This shop is old school, Ma and Pa pizza place so people please support them. They aren't a franchise and certainly don't taste like one. 100% approved for quality, service. The staff were friendly and have good recommendations for portion sizes.

“We love this little place. We come all the way from Portland, OR just to get their vegan tiramisu. The entire menu is great. The service and staff are great. It is in a cute place and neighborhood right on Main street.

We travel to Vancouver a couple times a year and The Grano is the first place we stop after our long drive there.

The name of the store has changed, but they still serve the Grano menu. Same owners, same food, diff name.

Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“
