“My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!“

“Everybody always talks about the big names for fish n chips on the drive. Last year I stopped in with my son and hands down had the greatest fish both of us have ever tasted! We will be back in a few weeks for our annual beach day followed by a stop at FishBoat!“

“My mother and I ate at the White Rock location on a Saturday night. The service from Rupanjeet was wonderful- she was kind and personable and gave us great insights into options that would suit us. The food was delicious and all three dishes had unique blends of spices and ingredients. Highly recommend the honey chilli cauliflower appetizer, the lamb curry and chicken rahra.“

“I took my two great nieces to eat at five Kitchen and raw oyster bar to have their very first time ever “fish and chips“ the waitress Karima was absolutely amazing and catered to the two girls throughout our whole meal… my son and I have eaten here once years ago and the service was amazing back then as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Great food great service.“

“Port Coquitlam location. The owner came to my place of work. I joked about "hey, you came empty handed" "I love Pineapple and Ham" They were very nice people. Next thing I know they brought me a beautiful Pineapple & Ham to my work. So sweet of them!!!!“

“We ordered the king salmon sashimi—it was very fresh, creamy, and tender. We also tried Taka’s signature set, which included miso soup, a small bowl of edamame, a house roll, and five pieces of aburi. Additionally, we ordered a wagyu aburi and a caterpillar roll. All the rolls were delicious. The aburi was fresh, though they all tasted quite similar due to the same sauce on top. The miso soup was just average, with only two slices of mushroom. The wagyu aburi was tender, but the portion felt small, especially considering it costs $12 per piece.
Would revisit if I’m in White Rock again.“

“We visited this branch today and love their burgers. Our personal fav is the Cheese Aloo Tikki burger and their Noodle Niravana is a heaven for Chinese food lover with a burger twist. We also tried the Tandoori hotdog, it was average. But the rest of the burger options and bun maska were all great 😍“
