“Food was good as usual, don’t expect authentic Mexican cuisine obviously, but it was great compared to other taco time locations and blows the T-Bell out of the water. I only go for Americanized tacos about once every year or two but the customer service and personality of the staff today was the best taco time experiences I’ve had. Best hot sauce in the game too. Definitely drop in at the Hollywood location if you are feelin the time 🤙🏽“

“Absolutely brilliant staff.
A local shop was hosting a car show and the McCurdy plaza became the overflow parking. A large portion of the people in attendance, myself included, flooded the restaurant and the staff handled it with ease. It was pretty busy when I was in there and even so the food came out relatively quickly and I could see the drive thru flowing at a normal pace.
There wasn't a single complaint or groan from anyone and they worked together as a seamless team to get everyone their food still piping hot.
When I let them know they were out of straws they were topped up within the next 30 seconds.
Briefly chatted with one young gentleman as he was making milkshakes and he mentioned he was supposed to be off and home by then but stayed to help out with the rush. Huge thanks to him. I didn't catch his name, but I hope he is able to get some extra praise along with everyone else.

“I have been coming to Edo of Japan for as long as I can remember. What draws me each time is the quality of each meal! It's not fast food, but quick food and delicious to eat!

I try to mix up the meals that I order, but I'm always drawn back to my favorite. Teriyaki Shrimp Bowl is hands down the best and freshest lunch or dinner that I have had!!! And when asked if I would like extra sauce......oh yes please!!!! Delicious! I keep buying the bottles, but I use then up so quickly I may have to invest in a larger quantity!! Lol

“I stopped in here for lunch today and ordered a regular sized donair with half chicken and half beef. It was just the right size for me and I have a good appetite. I usually order a footlong sub and I felt more full after this regular sized donair. The meat and sauces were really flavor filled and the veggies were crisp and fresh. It was a really delicious donair! And the gentleman making the sandwiches was friendly and helpful. Id come back here again for sure.“

“I just had a really pleasant experience at DQ on HWY 33 with an employee. I think their name was Cheston but I've waited to long to write this. When I was greeted via drive-through speaker, the employee was exceptionally helpful, kind and they went over and above answering my questions and figuring out the information regarding what I was needing very quickly. Though I don't work in fast food anymore, I did manage a restaurant, and I feel that I am qualified to state that what I experienced was really excellent customer service. In times like these people are stressed and on edge, but after I left I reflected on this small interaction... and it made a huge difference in my day. My 2 single burgers for$5 were nice too. :) Thanks.“

“Had an issue in the drive though (wrong food then got my bagel but it was all mangled). Went into the store and the manager apologized, fixed the issue, and even gave us a donut to munch on while we waited. I’m very happy with the way the issue was resolved, without that great service I wouldn’t have gone back.“

“Editing my 1 star review to say that this location turned a new leaf when a new manager took over. Great and pleasant service, food is always fresh. No more problems with overcooked frier foods. The manager of this location should be a district manager.“

“I'm obsessed with my favorite blizzard from dairy Queen!! This is a good dairy queen only reason for the 4 stars is because the drive thru at this location is a little confusing and sometimes causes a bit of a confusion amoung drivers. Update: still love dairy Queen! Still obsessed with my fave blizzard! Each dairyqueen will have diff prices then the next one cuz I guess they are independently owned. I think the one on Lakeshore might be the cheapest“

“First time visiting this Arby's location in Kelowna and I was very impressed! I ordered the beef n cheddar with curly fries and everything came out fresh and hot. It was very delicious! The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend Arby's in Kelowna!!“

“I recently visited A&W and had an excellent experience! The food was delicious—everything from their classic root beer to the burgers and fries was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to help. They made sure my order was correct and even checked in to see if I needed anything else. I highly recommend this A&W location. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere! I’ll definitely be returning soon.“

“It’s hard to resist a traditional A&W Root Beer in the heat of the summer! This location in the heart of Kelowna across from Orchard Park mall was worth taking the time to right a review! There are a lot of tempting new menu items and new drinks too and I really should come back for some of those but on a hot day I REALLY just wanted an icy cold root beer! I did go a further stretch and had the latest frozen root beer and it is a struggle which one to pick now! Along with the rootbeer I the classic cut fries were great and I think it was maybe the owner / franchisee serving us. I should have got her name. She was awesome. This may be fast food but she paid complete attention to customer service and made my day. I also noticed that she did the same with each of the guests following us and then made her rounds in the restaurant tidying up and getting things back in order between guests. Everything was very clean. The food was hot and the drinks cold.“

“One of the better options for fast food in Kelowna. Double junior bacon cheeseburger is like $4 and tastes pretty good for the price, 2 will leave you satisfied. In app deals are also pretty good. Personally they’ve never messed up my order, but I always check the bag right after getting it.“

“It was just ok after me trying it out. Service was good and helpful. The chicken tenders were underdone and gummy. The perogies with sausage were drier than I like with onions. The sour cream was a good portion. I would try again for close proximity but not loving it. I've had way better perogies at Pearsons deli.“

“If you’re in Kelowna and craving some bold, over-the-top comfort food, Smoke’s Poutinerie hits the spot. Their menu is massive — everything from classic poutine to wild combos like Pulled Pork, Bacon Cheeseburger, and even Butter Chicken poutine. I went with the Original Poutine and it did not disappoint: smoky, salty, cheesy, and absolutely loaded.

The portion sizes are generous, and even a regular can fill you up. The fries are thick-cut and crisp (most of the time), smothered in rich gravy and cheese curds that actually melt — a must for real poutine fans.

Staff were friendly and fast. It’s more of a grab-and-go or late-night spot than a sit-down experience, but the vibe is fun and casual. Great for after a night out or a serious cheat meal.

Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is consistency — I've had amazing poutine here, but once or twice the fries were a bit soggy or the toppings weren’t evenly spread. Still, when they get it right (which is most of the time), it's delicious.

Definitely worth a stop if you're in downtown Kelowna and want to try poutine with personality.“
