“Great place. Coffee was hot, fresh, and quickly refilled. They say the eggs are cooked in butter, and I believe them--you can taste it. Their waffles were perfect. It's some of the best diner food you can get, period. My buddy got a chile verde omelette, and it was flavorful without being too spicy (you can get a fried jalapeño if you want it spicier, which she did.) Highly recommend!“

“We went here with friends yesterday in Fresno and it is by far one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had. The broth is insanely thick and rich in that "stewed for hours, can't get this from a factory", meaty loveliness. We've had ramen in Japantowns in LA and SF and SD and this is the best. “What's not to love about Annex Kitchen? It delivers with delicious consistency every time! I love the atmosphere and the vibe, the drinks are always fire, and the service is attentive without being overdone. The food is all good - the pizza is the best in town, the shirt ribs and melt in your mouth amazing, the appetizers are all fantastic (I almost always have to get the arancini), and the kale salad is so good! My only complaint is that it can be hard to get a reservation because it's so popular and not very large - but so worth it when you can make it happen!“

“Stopped by on way home to try for lunch. Has the combo kebab lunch with beef, chicken and lulu. Also with plate was delicious pilaf and salad. There was enough to have two meals. “I love the outdoor patio seating. There is a huge fountain in the center of the patio, large plants all around, and it has a ‘Paris Cafe’ feel. “I showed up around 2pm on a sunday. We were seated quickly ( mind you there was also a sign to prepare guests for busy times and short staff). There were plenty of other people there as well. They seated us and helped us fast without any wait time at all. We got the beef combo which included four different cuts and a variety of veggies. We enjoyed it with the Korean kimchi broth and the collagen broth (which i believe is pork) The food was amazing!! I was in San Francisco a couple of weeks prior and had hot pot there at a slightly higher price and let me tell you Sichuan hot pot Fresno is way better!! They checked in on us often which was great and were very friendly. The amount you pay gets you great quality ingredients and large amounts of it! Our order could have easily fed 4 people even though it was just my partner and I. I will definitely be coming back soon“

“I've essentially become a regular at this restaurant. I think their food is great and I always order the beef chow funn (my favorite). The woman behind the counter is always so friendly. The food comes out pretty quick and it's always hot. I think the prices are pretty reasonable, I think most of their items are between $10-$20. I've never sat down to eat inside but I love seeing all the different birds on their TV all the time.“

“AJ’s is a popular restaurant serving authentic Armenian cuisine—at a very reasonable price. When we visited, Keyma was the dinner special. I'm not a fan of raw ground beef but it was nice to see it on the menu. We enjoyed the grape leaves and hummus with pita for an appetizer. This was followed by the mini Lahmajuns and Trout. The Trout was exceptionally flavorful and a large portion, along with pilaf and roasted vegetables. Highly recommend for an evening out, but make a reservation! As mentioned, it is a popular restaurant.“

“My managers and I absolutely love this place for breakfast and lunch. The greatest, friendliest, most organized and fastest service you will find. They have their operation down to a science. Every single person working here helps their co workers so you are always feeling taken care of. I love the crab cakes Benedict and the chicken wrap is my all time favorite. I am craving it now that I bring it up. It's a bit of a wait because it is always busy but the turn over is fluid so it's not too terribly long. We go on Fridays and we haven't waited longer than maybe 20 minutes and that isn't bad for one of the best spots in town. Tired to get some updates pictures of the menu but wasn't my best work. A very unusual combination, but it works well here because the place was consistently busy while we ate.Someone comes by and quickly asks what you need and promptly brings you the food. I had their huevos con chorizo plate with pancakes on the side. You can immediately taste the oil from the griddle they've had for the last 15 years. The grease is so prominent and delicious AF! Looking at the cooks, they are very efficient because they have a tray with plates ready to be served.Overall, such a unique place. The prices are very low for the deliciousness you get. Cash only! “Mom's Burgers is right across the street from me and I haven't been there in about 6 years. My husband was craving a burger so we decided to go. He got a double, and I got Moms Burger. There was nobody else in the restaurant so we got quick and very friendly service. We also made a special request to have a banana cherry milkshake that they were more than happy to whip up for us. We also got a side of Jalapeño Poppers, they were huge!!! Other burger places don't really compare to this spot. The prices are very reasonable (approximately $4 a burger). The prices have risen since a few years ago, understandably so, but they are still very fair. I highly recommend this place. The burgers are put together with care, with fresh ingredients. The tomatoes weren't sandy and the lettuce was crisp. They also toast both sides of the bun which makes for a very not soggy burger!! The restaurant itself is clean and there are a few tables indoors, no outside dining. They have their own lot for parking right in front of the restaurant. The area may be iffy to some, but since we live pretty much on the same block, it was no different to me than going to Habit or Mcdonald's and sitting in the lot. I highly suggest you give Moms a try!“

My son loves the chicken kabobs with french fries. The chicken pieces are very large and very tender and juicy considering its breast meat. As for me, whenever its available, i get the baby back ribs with the grilled veg. And the garlic sauce that comes with each dish goes well with all the dishes I have mentioned. My wife always orders the lentil soup, too. We have never had a disappointing meal here. The serving size is normally big enough for me to have a second meal at home. And they have great desserts, too. As for the place itself, its huge. Plenty of room if you want a family gathering. They accommodate private parties.
