“Went to dinner with a few of my lady friends after seeing a show in the city, this was the perfect ending to a phenomenal day. I had the crab cakes and they were delish, a couple of people in my group had the fried chicken/fried catfish combo and that looks delicious as well. I highly recommend Lizzy’s Cajun Cafe.“

This is slow food at it's best. Don't come if you are in hurry, or hangey.

But worth the wait if you love seafood and plan a leasurly meal.

We went Friday night after 7. There were only 7 table, some pushed together to accomodate bigger parties. Was greeted and told when large party left, 7 people party plus our party of 2 would be seated at those table. When seated, we got menus, water, and then waited to order. We had already observed this timeline while waiting, and saw those seated earlier oprdering, and just receiving food. So it was as expected.

Food was excellent! Salad so crspy fresh, calamaries crispy, tender, not heavy batter or rubbery. Sauces and dressing creamy and fresh tssting.

Fish same crispy light coating. Lots of fries, neither tried. Next time may ask if can uptier with garlic fries. My shrip boil was more like prawns, 1 lb 19.95, headless plus $1. A bargain, garlic butter mild. I like that you can pick how spicy, and various flavoring.

We were too full to try dessert.
Will try some variety next time with a bigger crowd.“

“This is one of those small restaurants that can be easily over looked. We live nearby and just discovered this gem. Willows and Pine brings that good old fashion southern charm from the moment we walked through the door. We were greeted when we walked in. The hostess, waiter, bartender and server were all the same person, yet were professional, friendly and looked like they enjoyed their job! The food was great! Price point to plate size was great too! The ambience and music felt inviting. If you want some good ol’ southern comfort, check them out.“

“Went to watch a comedy show. The show was nice, not all comedians were funny tho. But regardless, we had some laughs. The place has a nice ambiance. Clean kitchen, clean bathroom. It's quaint and it is good for date night, girls out, family get together. We had oxtail, salad and ribs. They were all good and tasty and flavorful. Unfortunately, the cocktails weren't as good. Would definitely go back for the ambiance and food though.“

“Always wanted to try seafood boils but never could in my hometown. This was the first place I hit after my move and it 100% met my high expectations. A bit pricy but has cheaper options anyone who want to save $$. Went here also for my birthday and was told about a deal going on for crab legs. Totally made the occasion extra special and had food for days. Definitely still good reheated too. Highly recommend. Don’t let the empty tables fool you. It’s much better eaten at home anyways. Only complaint is no salad or soup options since my friend wanted clam chowder. But otherwise amazing“

“Just went on Wednesday as I was passing through. I didn’t realize that they were open do to the farmers market being right there as well. Went inside and it was beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was very good. I will definitely be back.“

“My friend was visiting from Washington. First time for both of us. The waitress was wonderful, explained everything. We had the 3 item bag. oh so good !!! mild sauce was just perfect. The shrimp and mussels were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back with the family. 🦐💕“

“Got the 8 pieces of dark meat, and it was surprisingly really good with crispy batter and a little spicy kick. It's even good the day after, reheated in the microwave. Definitely coming back here when I have that fried chicken craving.“

“Really convenient location for zoo visitors. We were trying to bring some snacks into the zoo so we just drove along the road and found this little spot. Stuff was really nice. We ordered the chicken and shrimps and loved both of them. My son said it’s one of the best chickens ever made so far.“

“I only gave it a 4 because depending on the time you order, the shrimp is either perfectly cooked and fresh or black. But the flovor of the sauce is delicious. Same with the eggs if you order when they just open there good, but later in the day, they look overcooked.“
