“What a delicious and delightful and beautiful treasure. The food is absolutely tantalizing. I mean everything is oh so good. I can’t wait to eat here again. Definitely gonna take home some loaded lamb fries. The platters…the sparkling lemonade…the lentil soup…I could go on and on. Just a pleasant surprise. Mmm mm m.“

He gave us some tea while we waited for the food which did take a tad longer than I expected bc no one else ordered before us visually but then 2 people came by for the their pick up orders so we will do that next time.

Husband got the plate and I got the wrap for chicken shawarma and it was good! Not better than my own imo haha but it actually does taste like 85% similar.

It’s partially on us bc we did take out and had to run an errand before we could eat so it was a tad soggy and it had a slight spice to it I didn’t care for but for reference I don’t even like black pepper so take that statement with a grain of salt (pun unintended).

I will def come again and order the same thing but maybe request to not have all the extra stuff inside bc as a Lebanese I prefer my shawarma with as minimal things inside as possible. I was also definitely missing my pickled turnips 😩“

“This review is just for the Sichuan Hot Chicken which I've eaten twice. Overall it's pretty good, but it's not great, and I really want it to be great. In concept this is a really thoughtful and well-executed sandwich. It has great veggies and really crisp, juicy chicken. It reminds me of what I had in the night markets in Taiwan. The breading is good too, although I feel it could be a bit thicker.

Where it falls short for me is in flavor. The Sichuan spices are there, but they are overpowered by the sheer amount of chili powder and salt that the chicken is breaded in. I was looking for more in the sauce as well - honestly maybe just adding more sauce would accomplish that. If I could get more of that peppercorn flavor, less salt, and more sauce, I think it'd be a 10/10.“

Come here for your Mediterranean takeout. There are a few seating places in this food court if you stay.“

“They are DELICIOUS. The marketing/design of the product is great. They even super conscious of the environmentally when it comes to the packaging. Would by again! I got the sauce trio and the sumac. There was a problem in transit with two of the products. Customer service was top notch. Sent replacements right away. Ethical and amazing company.“

“We live in this neighborhood and if you know the North Shattuck and Northbrae Neighborhoods, there is no shortage of walkable dining. We just love Jerusalem Organic Kitchen for a consistently well prepared meal, friendly staff, and really good ingredients! They serve a quick, casual, healthy, and absolutely delicious meal. Everything we have tried is great with balanced seasonings. My personal favorite is the Shawarma Platter. Don't miss the perfectly prepared salmon platter with a generous serving of salmon that won't set you back an arm and a leg. The salad with chicken shawarma on top is great too. And they, of course, prepare a great middle eastern platter and falafel platter. And if all you want is a sandwich or burger - you won't be disappointed. Get the idea? We like their food and for good reason - they don't try to be all things to all people - they do middle eastern cuisine and do it really well. Try it - you'll like it!“

“Such a lovely experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warmth. The gentleman who helped us was not only kind but clearly passionate about what he does, and we enjoyed a great conversation with him. The food was fantastic—the chicken shish and lamb combo plate was so flavorful and tender, rice so tasty. “I had the most heartwarming experience at this spot in Downtown Oakland! After a while, I finally got to reunite with my best friend, and we decided to meet here for breakfast. The buffet was fresh, delicious, and had a great variety to choose from. The coffee was strong and smooth—just what we needed to start our morning. “Delicious kabab plates with a lovely showcase of desserts. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, and their lamb is well worth it.

They don't have much seating space (2 2-person tables) and a restroom that's well-maintained.

All the meals are served in to go containers with fast preparation!“

“The chicken halal plate from this place is Beyond DELICIOUS! If you like halal food, you won’t be disappointed eating here. It’s pretty good. “I give the highest caterer recommendation to Ikaros To Go (catering by the team that ran Ikaros restaurant). They planned and managed a very delicious memorial dinner for us for approximately 75 guests. The customer service and food were excellent - our menu included roasted salmon, vegetarian mousaka, rice, Greek salad and garlic bread, plus dessert of Baklava and sugar cookies which everyone also loved. They also handled dinnerware, water, lots of set up and clean up, soft drinks and pretty bottled Greek waters for the tables. “UPDATE-THEY JUST ADDED THEMSELVES TO DOORDASH AND THEY HAVE SOME GOOD NEW ITEMS ON DOORDASH AT A GOOD PRICE!

Have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years... The man who operates it took it over from his daughter and son-in-law... It used to be called Misha's Gyros ... I went in recently and I didn't quite recognize the guy with his hat ?... He was related to the people I saw BEFORE, I knew THAT -but I wasn't sure if it was a relative of theirs/or the same Guy -because it has been so many years! I saw him before the pandemic...

It turns out it's the same man and he maintains and operates his restaurant dutifully and faithfully after all these years!

THE FOOD WAS SO FILLING THAT I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO FALL ASLEEP! INCREDIBLE SPICE /INCREDIBLE FLAVOR TO THE CHICKEN GYROS... I WAS FEELING SO LETHARGIC I WORRIED ABOUT WHETHER I COULD GET TO MY CAR IN THE PARKING GARAGE AND DRIVE HOME 8 MI AWAY SAFELY!

AN HOUR LATER I WAS IN BED AND I REALIZED IT WAS THE LONGEST HOUR... BECAUSE OF ALL THE CALORIES AND NUTRITION IT WAS AS IF TIME EXPANDED ITSELF AND LASTED LONGER!

“Good size portions of good food at a good price. Great location too. They will see me again many times. Limited menu, but that’s not a bad thing. Perfect before or after a show or event. Plus they are open late.“
