I just learned that this spot is about as old as I am (mid-30s), and it has been run by a husband/wife team (I believe) all that time. A very nice couple. The wife cooks, and the pho is exactly what I like (and mostly only order). Tastes authentic to me, good size and price point. The husband takes the orders and he's a funny, quirky, quaint guy -- not your typical server, but very nice and personable. The tender chicken was the best chicken I had in years. So soft and flavourful.. And the owner also happened to be in the restaurant and he came over and talked to us and he was just so passionate about the food and gave us some background on how some of the items in the menu were introduced. The food was really tasty. I became a fan of Vietnam

The 5-star reviews are spot on. The food here is amazing. We had the combination pho, 5-spice chicken, and the Vietnamese omelette. Everything was authentic. The owner and server was attentive and funny. Highly recommend!
