“Got the salmon delivered. With cous cous and spinach and holendaise. A bit pricey, but they are experts at prep, and cooking. Salmon was perfect. Honey ginger, without over powering each other or the salmon. Roasted pine nuts? Very very tasty and roasted to perfection. The holendaise was tart again exactly the way it should be. Exceptionally fresh, exceptionally executed. When in the city I will stop by and thank them. Now, of course I want to try everything else on their menu.“

“I've been to many different locations for rooster and rice across San Francisco. This had been my first time at this location and it was nice. It definitely was given a corporate lunch location as it's under office buildings. They forgot to add a few items to our order. The food always delivers though, especially if you order the traditional dish.“

Don't expect a traditional sit-down restaurant. They have only three tables for dining in—two that seat two people and one that seats four. Most customers come for takeout, and it's common to see a line out the door. The place has a lively, bustling atmosphere that adds to its authentic neighborhood charm.

The menu offers an excellent selection of dim sum as well as a variety of Chinese dishes. I ordered the tofu with Chinese broccoli and eggplant, and the portion was generous, flavorful, and very satisfying.
