If you’re in the mood for a subway in the Alhambra area, avoid this spot take the two minute drive to Marengo and Main. I used to come here however in the last year or so something has changed. I don’t know if it’s management or what but the servings are skimpy and sometimes staff seems bothered by the request of an adequate amount of servings. They charge you 10 cents for a bag to take the food you paid for incase you have no bag before hand on you you either carry your orders on your hand or pay the 10 cents :).

Subway is a mixed bag, with some helpful and friendly staff, while others seem inconvenienced by customers. The food preparation can be inconsistent, with some sandwiches lacking the expected amount of meat. However, the manager is always friendly, and the staff are professional. The restaurant is very clean, and the dining area is roomy. The food is fresh, and the sandwiches, such as the Italian BMT, have a great ratio of ingredients. Overall, the experience can be hit-or-miss, but the cleanliness and friendly manager make it a decent option.
