“This is an absolute gem. I love them so much. I used to come here all the time when I still lived in the area. Their food is absolutely delicious and so healthy. Their staff are so kind and hardworking. This establishment is doing God's work and I'm so happy to know they're still up and running. I loved all their soups, salads, tofu stir fry, lentil meatloaf, & sandwiches! Def recommend this place to everyone.”

“Our group of four had a lovely time at Miya! We ordered the chicken khao soi, beef pad see ew, beef panang, and morning glory. All were wonderful dishes and they arrived at our table pretty quickly. It’s more important than ever to patronize these kinds of small businesses, particularly considering their location in Altadena. Highly recommend!”

“Altadena Ale & Wine House is easily one of the best spots in Altadena. The staff know their wine inside and out and love helping you discover something new. They’re welcoming, laid-back, and create an atmosphere that feels more like hanging out with friends than just grabbing a drink. With a great wine list, solid beer and food selection, and a classic old-school vibe, this place is a must-stop. Can’t wait to come back!”

“If you’re looking for a great place to eat, this is it! Their chicken fried rice bowl with teriyaki sauce is amazing, and the portions are huge—perfect for leftovers. The menu has plenty of options, the staff is friendly, and service is fast. Ordering online is easy, and my food is always ready in 15 minutes or less. Hands down, my favorite hibachi spot in LA—highly recommend!”
“Classic Street Taco stand. Al pastor on a spit, asada, cabeza, lengua and tripas. You can also get your choice of meat over a baked potato. Good is generally tasty, although I thought the pastor was a little oversalted on my visit last night.”
“Notably One of the best places I have been getting lunch throughout the disaster. Being able to be here is a small respite from the unfortunate. Glad this is still around.”
“Great option for late night taco stand.
$2.50 per taco. $11 per torta. Fresh salsas, onions, cilantro, lime and cucumbers. I like their pastor and asada.”

“Pizzas there are good, not sure how it compares locally but for someone from Boston, this is good. Got the vodka, summer tomato (seasonal), and Sicilian. For 2 people it was a lot of pizza and it's good that they have a half and half option. I'd utilize it to get 2 different pizzas for the size of 1. Prices are pretty good for the quality of ingredients used. Ask for the pouches of cheese and pepper flakes. Just know their pepper flakes are actually spicy so their spicy pepperoni pizza is real spicy.”

“To be a "hole in the wall" restaurant, to me, is better than a Michelin Star. Michelin Star restaurants take you on a trip. Places like Lucy's feels like Home.”

“Great neighborhood hangout, as the name implies. Inside there’s a cool cocktail bar, but my favorite is the dog-friendly outdoor patio, a chill spot to hang out with your friends, dog, and - yes - neighbors.
Outside is a map showing the destruction of the Eaton fire. It’s sobering and sad, but I’m glad it’s here. Thank you.”
