Food ordered: Garlic Shrimp, and Loco Moco.

The portion size is good, and the food fresh.

The loco moco is comparable to what you get in Kauai. My only issue is I ordered both Mac and Lomi and didn’t get no Lomi.

The garlic shrimp reminds me of Romy’s the shrimp is tender and not overcooked. There’s a mild bitterness use the lemon it helps.

Overall. Good job a Hawaiian restaurant with good quality food is a gem.“

“Had them at my kid's school carnival, really quick service and super friendly staff. Tacos came with all the extras like jalapeño, grilled onions, lime and cucumber. Side stand had hot sauces, chips and salsa. Asada, al pastor and fish tacos were all well made and not soggy, with the al pastor being the stand out flavorwise. The fish taco included all the extras usually on it like pickled onions and such.Great street food, would definitely get them again and I hope they're back next year!“

“Came out from the East Bay for the weekend and was lucky enough to be staying across the street from Joella’s! Needed to grab a quick bite and this place did not disappoint. The chicken sandwich was AMAZING!!! It wasn’t just a basic chicken sandwich that everyone else is trying to do … the ingredients were definitely unique. My boyfriend was celebrating his birthday and the owner gifted us a dessert, an Italian dessert common in his hometown of New Jersey. Definitely never had anything like it. It was nice to see that locals we’re popping up left and right. He’s definitely found a good place to call home and has a loyal following. I think we’re gonna go back tonight for the cheesesteaks.😆“

“The French Corner crepes were absolutely amazing partnered with equally amazing service. I went on Tuesday and got the The St. Tropez crepe was my favorite crepe just the perfect amount of cheese and prosciutto. Don’t be intimidated by the Chef’s demeanor. My initial interaction with him felt intimidating, but once you start talking to him his true self emerges as this kind and funny guy. The cashier was just as nice if not even funnier and was very handsome. Go on Tuesdays it’s not as busy.“

I ordered a lunch for 12 this week. The owner Joe, prepared a wonderful array a food: Dolmas, the best I have ever eaten, hummus, salad, chicken kabobs, beef and lamb sliced meat, rice and... amazing baklavas.
Everything was amazingly delicious! I picked it up and the owner Joe, had everything ready for me.

“Great food, quick service, the one thing I will say is that they are not always accurate with their hours, and sometimes they are not open on days they usually are. That being said these guys pump out some fantastic food. My friend got the ramen bowl and ate it faster than I could get a picture of it for their Google page. The super burrito is delicious, just make sure you ask for light salt on the carne asada if you are doing that low sodium thang.“

“I don’t think they are still cash only because I think they accept Apple Pay/card now. This was also one of my go to spots for burritos while I’m on the go and I know people also like their tacos, ceviche, and tostadas. Prices have gone up in general over the years but I was shocked to see a $20 super burrito back when it was less than $10 in the past. I love Carne Asada and I got the carne asada regular burrito and it never disappoints, can last me up to 2 meals. I also got the pickled vegetables, red and green sauce as well as chips. I didn’t have to wait too long, they’re located at the parking lot across smart and final at the old furniture store parking lot and there’s a table outside off of Sonoma Boulevard. Service is quick and great! And glad to see them still in business over the years!

“You can a get pretty good super burrito here for $12. Cheaper than most food trucks since they’re all charging like $16-18 for one now. Open on weekends. They have cucumbers slices, chiles, and usually grilled onions on table for self serve along with salsas. Fast service, cash card, Apple Pay accepted. Something about his poor little starving wife not getting shredded cheese quickly enough during covid. That guy was a complete tool (probably still is), so I want to do my part to increase ratings.
