“I am absolutely blown away by Above All Catering! The team was so sweet, professional, and accommodating. I was looking for a catering company for my engagement party and came across Above All Catering on Instagram.

My fiancé and I had a tasting at their head quarters in Anaheim, CA with Danielle. We were greeted by her asking if we wanted anything to drink and was escorted to their tasting room (which had the most beautiful table setting). Their glassware, chargers, plates, and cutlery were top tier and from my understanding you can rent those out. So that is a bonus! They also had a menu customized to what we wanted to try for our tasting. We started off with appetizers, salads, main courses, and finishing it off with dessert. We then met our chef Marcos and were able to ask Danielle and Marcos any questions we had. We wanted the theme of our party to be "That's Amore" and appreciated that they were able to come up with a menu to match the theme and we also upgraded to adding in a bar service. The whole team was very attentive and keen on those details, so we were excited to have them on board for our party.

On the day of our event, they arrived early, greeted us, and served the food and drinks on time. The food and drinks were so delicious; my guests could not stop raving at how yummy it was! Not only did we love the food and drinks, but we also admired how well the team exceeded our expectations.

“We’ve been guests at several Canyon Catering events, so I was very comfortable choosing them for our Graduation Luncheon. It was a small event-40 guests, we chose a cold deli menu, so only needed delivery and setup. Working with Maggie was excellent; she answered all of my questions and put me at ease. The delivery and setup went very well. Everyone at CC is so pleasant and friendly, and does their job well. All of our wrap sandwiches were delicious 😋 and the salads so fresh and attractive. “This is one of our favourite places in Placentia, and just can’t be beat on price.

I love the red Barbacoa tacos and the consume (which is not on the menu but which you CAN order separately).

I also love that you get your own sides and napkins, etc, as that has really sped up the service and reduced waste by allowing us to get exactly what we want and no more. It’s usually the perfect amount of time from when you order to go over, grab what you want (from the three kinds of salsa, cut limes (or lemons, depending on the day), cilantro, and onion-cilantro mix).

FEEDBACK: I’ve noticed recently that some of the tacos have included really fatty bits of meat, which has turned off some of my friends from eating there with me. Some reinforcement for the cooks to ensure a consistent mix of fat and meat in the tacos might be helpful.“

“This might be the best pizza I've ever had. Our office complex in Irvine started hosting bi-weekly food trucks at lunch and Hobo Co Pizza was here the first week. Never had a pizza from a food truck but was intrigued. The lady who took my order was super friendly and we had a nice little chat while I was ordering. Took only about 10 minutes for my order to be ready and I took it back to my office.

I was pleasantly greeted by a wonderful looking pizza on first glance, prepared the way I like it. Cooked perfectly with a thin crust with a nice thick, bubbly, slightly charred edge, certainly passed the visual inspection. It only got better from there, the first bite was incredible. The crust is the star of this pizza, has a nice light crisp on the outside and a perfect chew. The sauce is exceptional, both in flavor and application, not too much, not too little, just the right amount.

I can confidentially say this is the best pizza to ever grace the borders of Irvine, unfortunately it's not a permanent fixture here, although I hope they come back frequently. I'll certainly be letting Irvine Co. know how I feel about them and requesting they invite them back often.“

“The food was delicious and set up super fast. Order was for 100 people we had more than enough and left overs boxed up for us to take home. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Very happy with the price and the quality. Will definitely use again for our next event.“

“We ordered the holiday turkey empanada and the Filipino feast burrito. They were both pretty good, the Filipino burrito was extremely filling for 12 bucks or whatever it was. Our foot came hot and was delicious. The empanada wasn’t like quite as good as the burrito but it was definitely interesting.

“Sandors catered and provided decor for my daughters Quince at our home on Oct 16th. Everyone LOVED THE FOOD! the decor was simple but REALLY NICE! The servers and bartender we had were professional and friendly with all ours guests. Great service and so helpful. I was able to enjoy the party and not worry too much on how to keep the party moving. THANK YOU!“
