“Once we booked with the Nixon Library, we were given a choice of 2 caterers that we could use. I was a bit worried when I found this out, as I wasn’t sure I wanted to be boxed in with specific vendors. White House catering was by far our favorite choice. Katie was a dream to work with. She answered all of my questions, helped me plan out “Operation Keep Grandma Nice”, and was just a great person to be able to work with. The staff on the day of were fabulous too. The server for our sweetheart table was the sweetest - constantly kept checking in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything, and was always nearby in case we did. They are definitely a well oiled machine, and everything ran extremely well. It is clear that they have this very fine tuned! Thank you again for everything and making sure all of our guests were taken care of and well fed! :)“

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

It was a small event-40 guests, we chose a cold deli menu, so only needed delivery and setup. Working with Maggie was excellent; she answered all of my questions and put me at ease. Everyone always raves about the them! The pizzas are out of this world, especially the carmelized bacon and pepperoni. “Edited to 3 stars: After the review was posted, the caterer got back to me and apologized for the miscommunication. They offered to provide the food and gave a quote. As the event date is close, we had made alternate arrangements. They provided a number I can reach the business in the future if I'd like to try them out. This is appreciated. ------------- If a negative star could be provided, that's what I would give. I don't believe this catering business is in service. We have a decent sized event coming up and have left numerous voicemails, contacted them via "enquire now" and even went to the location in Anaheim. We spent some time with a lady there who took down our desired menu and let us know that she'll get back to us. It's been 2 weeks and we still haven't heard from them, not even a "no, sorry, cannot fulfil the request." Even after following up in the message thread, they have been ghosting us. I don't believe they're in business and even if they are, they're not catering to anyone clearly interested. Extremely unprofessional, would not recommend wasting any time on them. ETA: they got back to me after this review was posted and mentioned I needed to have a $600 minimum - which was not even talked about while we were there in person. Definitely OK if they just mention they didn't want to take our order, but suddenly giving us information weeks later is not good for their business!“
