I just got back from New York, and I’m not even kidding when I say this beats every pizza I had there.

I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years now, and it will forever be one of my favorite restaurants. Everything is SO flavorful. The chef seriously has magic hands because I have yet to order something that isn’t delicious.

I travel a ton, and whenever I’m back in town, this is always the first place I want to stop. The second I walk through the door, it feels like home. ❤

“My roommate decided to try the coffee after hearing about it through a friend in CA (we are in RI). My roommate says it is by far one of the best coffees he has ever tasted. Very aromatic! “I only have GREAT things to say about Olive Wood Pizza! The pizza, pasta and salad were absolutely delicious, they arrived on time for set up (they were early, actually) and their food presentation was perfect! Brooke (admin.) was super easy to work with pre-event day, and then of course the staff handled everything superbly on the day. As an event coordinator who is always looking for great food vendors, Olive Wood Pizza will now be my first phone call..... I am happy to use them time and time again for my events!“

“I don't even know where to start. Our biggest reservation with having a wedding was initially thinking about how much we'd have to spend upfront. Wedgewood made it simple by breaking it up into payments leading up to the wedding day. Thankfully, we got a headstart and planned 18 months ahead. So the payment plan per se, was much more doable once it was laid out!

From our initial conversation with the venue to the final days leading up to the wedding, Rio Hondo made it so easy for us. The planning was essentially laid out step by step and easy to navigate through the online portal! The reminders were within reason, the checklist was helpful, and the admin staff were accomodating.

We decided to get the third tiered package with the venue. The package came with a day-of wedding coordinator, buffet styled dinner, a DJ and MC, a photobooth, top-shelf and open bar, a floral centerpiece for each of our tables, and a few other things including a smooth planning schedule.

Rio Hondo - thank you for making our wedding experience such a breeze! Laura and I both had so much fun. We really didn't feel like we stressed about anything.

Tamica was our day-of coordinator, Nestor was our banquet captain, and Dustin was our DJ and MC. Tamica, thank you for being so present and attentive to our needs. From bringing us water to helping us fix our appearances as the day went on, and everything else in between. It was a fun experience sharing our plans with you. Thank you for helping us bring them to life! Nestor, you and your kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food and appetizers. We had so many compliments on the food. Many of our guests were happily surprised and satisfied. I keep thinking about the mac and cheese croquettes, the chicken with sherry cream, and the salmon. YUM! Dustin, you rock so much. Laura and I were type-A personalities when it came to the song selections, our grand entrance, the surprises, and the Labubu tosses. Thank you for working with us to make it happen!!

The entire staff at Rio Hondo showed up and showed out for us. Thank you all for making our special day (surprise and actually our 2-year wedding anniversary) so much fun, easy going, and truly unforgettable! For anyone hesitating, JUST DO IT! You won't regret it 🥰“

From initially dealing with Samantha on the phone and getting the food ordered to the execution of the party and the cleanup, I can't say enough wonderful things.It was amazing. The food was amazing and tasty and so many compliments from everybody. The three staff members that came top notch wonderful they were so pleasant and hardworking, and I appreciated them so much.
I worked at Ellie's table in san clemente until they closed so when we were going to have the reception at the house, I already knew I was gonna use jay's catering, and you did not disappoint not one bit. I will recommend you to everybody. And if we ever have another party ( 🤗)

“Just had my wedding here and had simply amazing time! Barbi, Emily and the entire staff made it truly a seamless experience that allowed us and our guest to enjoy our wedding! They are definitely an elite catering service as they handle every little detail (and some unexpected ones) with top-notch care and attention! Definitely loved this venue as a convenient outdoor space in the Costa Mesa area, not too far from South Coast and Westminster/Fountain Valley which made things really easy for our friends and family to navigate. There's also a beautiful vineyard nearby for photos

Notes:
-Wedding was 230 people outdoors on the grass/garden area
-Did not have a ceremony there, though the gazebo is great for photos
-Allows for outside catering, we used the venue's appetizers which were great (the grilled cheese shooters were a huge hit!)

Overall, if you are looking to do something beyond a standard indoor restaurant, this garden is great as a blank canvas space to have your wedding with truly elite service and execution :D“

“I celebrated my 60th birthday few weeks ago and I can’t recommended it enough. Great location, beautiful inside, outside area is very clean, plenty of parking and very private. The food was great and believe me you will not be disappointed. The staff was very nice and easy to work with in particular the two ladies that worked with me and help me to put together my party in a short period of time, Roberta and Sandra….Roberta in particular has a good sense when it comes to ideas to decorate… you just need to tell her what theme you want for your party and she make sure that everything goes accordingly to your taste. She listened and within your ideas and her inputs I can guarantee you that everything will come out BEAUTIFUL. My theme was “Havana Night “ and everything came out better than I expected…So if you look for a place to have fun and created memories that will last forever, I would highly recommended this place !!“

“The 3 of us came here for lunch. We always order the Honey Walnut Shrimp Burger which is delicious (5/5). The Taro Sweet Milk is good (4/5) and the Black Sesame Matcha is just average (3/5). It could get busy during lunch rush hour, kitty might take 10-15 minutes you wait for your burger, although the drinks are much faster. The ambiance is airy with high ceiling, the Chinese decor is quite interesting.“

“On Saturday, July 25th, 2026 my church was having an event and your food was being delivered for that part of the meal service. I want to commend you. I erred by not getting the woman's name who delivered the food to us, but she was a great help to us worker bees. We were using Chafing trays and the lady who's usually in charge of them called out sick. I and my coworkers know zero about them. Your lady helped me understand what to do and how to do it. Thank you Thank you and Thank you.
Now for the food. The menu consisted of baked beans, chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. With 2 sides. Potato salad and coleslaw. My coworker and I were comparing our opinions and you all deserve a raise. Instead you'll receive this high rating. A 10 out of 10. I don't usually eat brisket and my coworker doesn't usually eat pulled pork. However, these two meats were melt in your mouth tender, most flavorful, and super juicy. They were the Best!
