“recently stopped by this Chinese restaurant, and it was a standout experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The wontons, in particular, were incredible—perfectly wrapped, silky, and packed with flavor. They alone are worth the visit.

The rest of the meal was just as impressive, with balanced sauces, great textures, and generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

Whether you’re craving a quick bite or a sit-down meal with family or friends, this place is absolutely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of those wontons.“

“Always, and i mean ALWAYS, so dang, good. Very easy to feed a large family at a reasonable price, and it's food EVERYONE loves. We usually get general tso chicken, orange chicken, crab wontons, and either noodles or fried rice. If you're like me and obsessed with the Oriental Express Chinese food in shasta Lake City, this is even better. So yummy!“

“Food here is quite good, some of the best in the area for Chinese, big portions, and fair prices. I especially like the mongolian beef (good amount of spice) and the general tso chicken. Won ton soup has been a bit too bland lately. Atmosphere and service isn't their specialty, but if good chinese food at a good price is what you seek, youll get it here.“

“The table seating near the bar is most comfortable and the service was friendly. Family seating in the regular dining area has the view outside. The chef came out to greet us & she was sweet, letting us know how the food was prepared. All lobster dishes are fried yet glistening with sauce. The menu mostly consists of prawns in various ways.“

This is the best place in Redding,CA.
A hidden gem, if you will.

To start, the waitress (maybe owner) was extremely friendly and welcoming.

The food was absolutely incredible. After my husband and received our food, he looked impressed & said that this place is way better than Peter chus, by a long shot; and I can’t agree more.

The waitress checked on us frequently, she noticed my 2 year old had an owie on his finger brought him a bandaid and neosporin , gave him a cookie she had and even brought him more soup because he was asking for more.

I personally haven’t had Chinese food this good and I’ve tried many places including the Bay Area.

I would give this place 1000 stars for our entire experience. Support this local gem of a restaurant, they deserve it.“

“We ordered 2 bigger plates with 3 entrees and one side for 4 people, which costed $27.xx. That is the price of a SINGLE dish in a near by Thai restaurant. The food is good as a fast food restaurant. The waitress was very nice and kept asking us whether we need plastic bag for eat out or extra plates for dining in. Plus you wouldn’t be asked for tips. Best choice for road trip especially when you have limited time.“

“We absolutely love Tokyo Garden, the food is fabulous.We live an hour north so when we do come to Redding sushi from Tokyo Garden is a must. Today's visit was extra special because it is my birthday. We went and got our order and noticed right before leaving they made a mistake with our sashimi, when letting them know of the mistake they very sweetly and graciously corrected the mistake and let us keep the other food. That was so special and sweet and we appreciated it so much. I also wanted to point out how extremely sweet the staff always is. Victoria and Kaylee went above and beyond.
