“I had such a great experience here! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and everything tasted so fresh — you can really tell they use local ingredients. I ordered the breakfast tacos, and they had the perfect mix of flavors. Every bite was balanced and delicious. My sister-in-law got the biscuits and gravy, and the gravy instantly reminded me of my dad’s home-cooked version — comforting, hearty, and absolutely spot-on. Definitely a dish I’d recommend! It was late so I stopped to get a hot chocolate and when I got to the window the young man asked me how my day was going and I lost it. I started crying and telling him everything that was going on and also apologizing for crying, the employees were incredible. Then when I went to pay for my hot chocolate the young man said he had paid for it and to come by anytime to talk if I needed it. you have no idea how much that meant to me. THANK YOU THANK YOU.“

I would highly recommend almost everything at When Pie Meets Bread. I would also recommend stopping by early enough to pick something up when going to a dinner party. I, myself, can never think of anything to take to those things and picking up a veggie tray at WinCo just doesn't ever seem enough. But who wouldn't like fresh baked bread or pie or cookies or desserts? Honestly, if you haven't gone there yet I would check it out. I have not been disappointed with anything I have had there.😃“

We had five different menu items and none disappointed they were delicious and fresh. The OJ was freshly squeezed and so good. Service & wait time were also perfect. We noted undercooked vegetables - sprouts and broccolini (in pesto dish) and a smaller-than-norm mule glass. This contributed to the 4/5 rating.“

“This place is awesome. It's a small quaint little shop right next to the museum. There is semi-affordable trinkets and small items. They have a Mini little coffee shop and there. I didn't drink any of the coffee, but it looked good“

“I like this restaurant for Redding! The atmosphere is really fun and the food was presented well and cooked perfectly. My potatoes needed a little more seasoning, but my mom's ham steak was flavorful in a unique way. As a coffee snob, I loved the iced coffee I got - the presentation was cute in the jar. Employees were so attentive, friendly, checked on us just the right amount of times, and I loved to see it busy inside.

Order was taken with a smile also, employees were very friendly. We had a absolutely delicious wrap, with teriyaki pork and too many other goodies to list. Avocado toast which is the tastiest we have ever had. Strawberry lemonade was incredible. Not overly sweet, or syrupy, great flavor. Nice size. Next time I will try a dessert. “Went this morning with my son to the mall and promised we’d grab Cinnabon on the way out. I stopped by before they officially opened, and the gentleman behind the counter was so nice and let us know that the hot ones (my son’s request) were coming out in about five minutes. We came back, and the lady who rung us up was also super nice! Our Cinnabon was just as we expected it would be, and we’ll be back again. Thank you for the wonderful service this morning!“

We decided to try this place and i can say we will be going back soon! “When this place was around, maybe ~10 years ago, (FoodMaxx parking lot location) it was garbage. Great prices, terrible pizza.

Not anymore, by my metrics.

I got desperate, called a few months ago, and haven’t looked back. Pizza is fire, prices are very fair, the drivers are kind, fast and have integrity.

For example: I had my 14 y/o daughter meet the driver at the door. She got a little nervous, accidentally messed up filling out the receipt AND never gave the cash tip. The pizza was perfect and the charge on the card cleared for the right amount, in my account, a few days later…. I just try to tip them more moving forward.

Very positive experiences, I 100% recommend.“

“The quality of the ingredients at this restaurant is excellent. The beef is tender and the cartilage has a perfect texture plus so many vegetables added.
My only concern is the sweetness of the broth. If they could remove the sugar and let the natural flavors of the broth, it would have been better. Sweet broth is not something most people want. We just love the natural broth flavor.
But i like the generous servings, 1 serving is good for 2 persons.“

Employees are very nice and lines are not very long most of the time. The small soft serves are as big as medium soft serves. The price of two soft serves are only $6.41! 5 stars for sure!“
