“It used to be called Mary's Pizza, and now it's Charlew's Tap House. I met the owner himself, and we had a nice chat about his grandmother and his family. He said that, like me his family was born and raised in California. He's really nice guy. The service is excellent, The ambience is really nice. They have private booths, large tables, and, you can also just sit at the bar and watch them Make a pizza. He told me that whenever I wanted he would make me the best pizza I ever had. I believe it. I usually get the spaghetti with a giant meatball à la carte on the lunch menu and it's very reasonably priced. Also delicious. Probably the best Italian food I've ever had in this area, or possibly anywhere else in short of The i-80 truck stop in Iowa, The world's largest truck stop. There's a family-owned restaurant there that had the most delicious lasagna I've ever tasted, but now that I've had it at this place, it's no longer the best I've ever had. I recommend this restaurant to anybody. and everybody“

“Wow!!!!!!! I can still taste the chicken pesto crepe. Oh my dear, Yahweh- was that the most delicious ckn. Pesto I've ever had in my life??YES. The owner is a sweet and very busy lady and she definitely knows what great customer service should look like. Amazing! The guys in the kitchen- well, it wouldn't be what an amazing place it is, without you all cooking back there and serving too! Yes it was super busy and a bit of a wait- BUT soooooooo well worth it!!! A bit pricy but that's because (and my daughter can appreciate this more) it's Organic and we all know how expensive organics can cost business owners and consumers alike. Well, amazing crepes and matcha lavender drink and amazing customer service. Be patient and this place will NOT disappoint you. Thank you! And thank you for the military discount. And I love the wall decor about God. Outstanding job!!“

“Fun decor, delicious sandwiches, and great service! We ordered a bowl of chili, the Poor Boy, Club Sandwich, The Californian, and The Florentine and enjoyed all of them. Brought our dog and the owner even gave us a water bowl. Would highly recommend if stopping by!Vegetarian options: They have 6 vegetarian options - 4 sandwiches and 2 salads (most of which include avocado so they’re pretty filling). I had the Florentine and it was amazing.“

“What a cute little find in Redding! The selection of flavors was really unique and they had actual spoons for us to sample with, which was a nice touch. The gal that helped us was so kind and patient, on a cold, wet, winter day. We sat down and enjoyed a few mean rounds of Connect Four, while we enjoyed our ice cream. We decided to try the pizza next door, which was also delicious!“

“On our way to Oregon we stopped in Redding for lunch and found Trendy's on Yelp. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waitress, Alma, was very kind. I left my credit card on the table when we left and they were closed by the time I realized it was gone. I called the next day and they said they would hold onto it until we came back by. We stopped yesterday for lunch and they had saved my card for me. Lunch was excellent again and the waitress, I didn't get her name, was a sweetheart. I highly recommend Trendy's!“

“Let me be clear: this is one of the best places in Redding for amazing food. The husband is the chef, and the wife runs the floor, and together, they've created an amazing culinary experience. Lots of appetizers to choose from, diverse wine and beer list, homemade soups that will knock your socks off, wonderful entree options for any palette, and homemade desserts to bring it all home. Needless to say, the service and experience is top tier - and you feel how much they care about you from the moment you walk in the door. The ambiance is quaint and small with a local photographer gracing the walls. Make a reservation - you can leave a message before they open, and she will call you back. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have an elegant evening with top-tier food and unprecedented service. To you, Paradisio, thank you for working so hard to give us such an amazing place to enjoy.“
“Fall River had a very good selection of local brews. There was something any beer lover would like form IPAs to ales. If you like beer there’s something for you. In addition to a beer tasty menu the vibe was laid back and not loud. It is even pet friendly. I would recommend Fall River and will return next time I’m in town. Their IPA selection was vast with many that had great fruity flavor and not overly hoppy.“

“Gotta love my Dutch!! Always a great experience at the one on Airport Road!! Come to think about it, I have never had a bad interaction with any of the Dutch Brothers in Redding. Bro-ristas are always very upbeat, friendly, and helpful. One of my favorite spots to go!“

“What a cool place to grab a beer or glass of wine. A chill atmosphere that wasn’t pretentious. Did not try the charcuterie board but if I can make my own I’ll try next time. Good selection of beer on tap and wonderful bar tender. Will most certainly be back. Highly recommend trying this establishment.“

“My buddy and I went to Joes today... I moved back here about 5 years ago, been meaning to hit Joes but haven't till today, my buddy from Sac. wanted to give it a try (he's big on smoking meat and is very good at it). We both really liked the meat, the food is very very good, the Mac and cheese (wasn't on the menu) was delicious!! The amount of food is plenty enough for two large guys that can eat. The best part about this place however is the staff and owner, the girl at the counter overheard me saying I'd like to try their macaroni salad against mine, and even though I ordered the Mac and cheese she still brought me some just to see if I liked it better than my own! the owner then came out asked if the food was edible, great guy, funny. I work in the Bay Area ever week then come home here on the weekends! So many people in the Bay Area nobody sees each other at all. Smokin Joes bbq and places like it are the reason why I choose to call this area home. Keep up the good work.“
“Fall River Brewing Co’s brewery is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy some good beer. They often have a food truck on site, but you can also bring your own food. They are family friendly with corn hole and pinball machines, TVs and lots of seating. Also dog friendly.I give them four stars only because they serve their beer in plastic (too wasteful) and their beers lean too much on the IPA side for me.“

“Happy ... fast order in drive thru line ... pickup at window. Most people enjoy the good energy customer service experienceImportant tips .. the drive up is a tight curve and the shop can get really busy at times. No indoor seating but some parking and a few uncovered tables. No food :)“

“Just went in for a good pressed juice. Service was a tad slow....since the guests in front of me were very "needy". But the nature of fresh juice requires that. Customer service was flawless when I got to order. Great experience. Juice was great too.“

“The best burger and fries I’ve had in a long while! Glad to find this sweet place just off the I-5 Highway while traveling from Oregon. Generous portion of hot, crispy fries, not at all greasy. Hamburger done just right with nice slices of tomato, red onion and crisp iceberg lettuce leaf. Strawberry milkshake. Local ranch beef according to their sign. The 3 middle aged ladies behind the counter are great. Seemed like a lot of local folks eating here today. Friendly, super efficient and so kind. I’ll be back .“
