“Wow, wow, wow! Our family is staying in Redding on a road trip south from Oregon. We found this place on Google and the reviews and menu checked every box. We were not disappointed. I have dietary restrictions they were able and happy to accommodate. All meals are prepared fresh and it shows. Everything was delicious and filling. The kiddos still had room for dessert! We had a fantastic experience and will be returning the next time we are in Redding!“

“I've been coming to Thai hut since 2019. They remember my name and my order. This place is amazing, I am vegan and they have at least a dozen or more options for me, with little to no modifications needed. They're always so friendly and professional. They are family run and their hours of operation are normal business hours, they started staying open until 7 recently which is amazing because I'm usually not getting off work until 6 so it's perfect for dinner time on those days when I'm too exhausted and hungry to cook. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves Thai food ❤️ they're the BEST“

“Dinner date for our 9 year anniversary was absolutely perfect thanks to Mike at Cafe Paradisio! Everything was delicious, we had reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival, didn’t wait even 2 minutes for water and our drink order. I had red wine and husband had a beer both came out at the same time promptly. We ordered our dishes and while waiting for our meals we could hear other guests around us gushing in joy about how amazing their dishes were! Once ours arrived we dug in and then HAD to try eachothers too; both were above and beyond incredible! If you haven’t been you need to go! We will now be making this our date night place! “I grew up eating these bagels and I think they're probably the best I've ever had. Definitely get a berry bagel and a jalapeno cheese (it's spicy!). Anytime I come back to town I make sure to stop in and pick up a dozen to take home and throw in the freezer. A Redding institution and definitely something not to miss out on.“

It was our first time visiting, and we were warmly greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. Our server was exceptional - attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. He truly made our dining experience stand out. The food was, without a doubt, the highlight of our evening. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer, and oh, the sauce was sublime! For our main courses, we opted for the Pesto Salmon in garlic herb linguine and the Pan Seared Bistro Filet. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. “Got the beef burrito, and it was okay. For a smaller place like this I kind of expected it to be extraordinary, as most small places are. It was good but it wasn't extraordinary hence the four stars. That being said the restaurant was clean the service was great and it's a place that I'll definitely go back to.“

Also had the mild salsa and chips, I could have eaten three containers of the salsa! Love the fact that they use fresh avocado, scooped right out of the skin onto your burrito.“

“The Place That Sparked It All. This place is the place that got me started on my reviews. 11 years ago.

We came back to where it all began. Nello’s helped start the fire—so tonight wasn’t just dinner, it was a full-circle moment.

The bread? Soft and crisp.
The prosciutto and melon? A little gamey, but good.
The chicken piccata was lemony perfection.
The alfredo? Creamy, grilled just right—solid 4.5, maybe even 5.
Even the salad held its own.

The antipasto lost us with tuna juice bleeding across the plate.
Wine list wasn’t offered—we had to ask. They didn’t have my wife’s choice, subbed it with Cupcake Moscato, then charged $11 a glass for a $9 bottle.

But the service was otherwise tight.
Drinks never went dry.
Course progression? Elegant.

And just when we thought the old-school charm might carry it through…

“Shasta County has a few examples of multi genre food restraunts. They're kind of the precursor to the whole fusion thing. Papi's offers Mexican, American and Chinese food and honestly does a good job at all three. Great place to get food for a big group. They have a drive through and you can order inside which is nice when you have a big vehicle that won't fit through the driveway. Gets busy when the high school is out. I have never eaten anything there that I didn't like and they are reasonably priced and you definitely a good value for what you pay .

Kid-friendliness: Small place but always friendly and welcoming. They have a variety of food so if you have a kid that wants a burrito, another that wants a hambuger and you want chicken teriyaki than this is the place for you. All of the different options are definitely good and makes for an easy one stop shop for a family.“

I began in the food service industry when I was 13 yrs old and have worked in a range of restaurants (but most were in the higher end style). Every part of our experience was exemplary.
