“I grew up eating these bagels and I think they're probably the best I've ever had. Definitely get a berry bagel and a jalapeno cheese (it's spicy!). Anytime I come back to town I make sure to stop in and pick up a dozen to take home and throw in the freezer. A Redding institution and definitely something not to miss out on.“

“We had all sorts of pizza from them and they were all delicious 😋 the whole extended family and family couldn’t resist. They are 100% better than the dominoes. “I've been coming to Thai hut since 2019. They remember my name and my order. This place is amazing, I am vegan and they have at least a dozen or more options for me, with little to no modifications needed. They're always so friendly and professional. They are family run and their hours of operation are normal business hours, they started staying open until 7 recently which is amazing because I'm usually not getting off work until 6 so it's perfect for dinner time on those days when I'm too exhausted and hungry to cook. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves Thai food ❤️ they're the BEST“

It was our first time visiting, and we were warmly greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. Our server was exceptional - attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. He truly made our dining experience stand out. The food was, without a doubt, the highlight of our evening. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer, and oh, the sauce was sublime! For our main courses, we opted for the Pesto Salmon in garlic herb linguine and the Pan Seared Bistro Filet. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. To cap off the meal, I indulged in the crème brûlée for dessert, Amazing!. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, service, and ambiance at Karline's. Also had the mild salsa and chips, I could have eaten three containers of the salsa! Love the fact that they use fresh avocado, scooped right out of the skin onto your burrito.“

“We are from out of town and in Redding to visit family. When we got to the restaurant, it was a little bit of a wait, but now I know why. There was not one staff member that didn’t have a smile on their face. Everyone was so incredibly kind. Our 3yr old about lost his mind over the pancakes—we’ve never seen him eat so much! We all enjoyed our meals, they were fresh and fantastic. The energy in the restaurant is so cozy and welcoming, it was so clean, and the food was great. It was good but it wasn't extraordinary hence the four stars. That being said the restaurant was clean the service was great and it's a place that I'll definitely go back to.“

“Excellent food/service, and very friendly staff. I appreciate their effort for quality. The lighting and atmosphere was comfy and romantic. Me and my wife spent our three year wedding anniversary here and enjoyed every minute.

I even made the mistake of thinking I left my wallet at the table the night before. I came the next day and explained my situation to them.

They looked everywhere and noted my phone number. The owner was even there and also made a personal phone call for me to their cleaning service in case it was lost in their tablecloth linens. They did tell me that they do have a solid set up for missing items and it would have ended up there. I later realized I just misplaced my wallet at home.

“Shasta County has a few examples of multi genre food restraunts. They're kind of the precursor to the whole fusion thing. Papi's offers Mexican, American and Chinese food and honestly does a good job at all three. Great place to get food for a big group. They have a drive through and you can order inside which is nice when you have a big vehicle that won't fit through the driveway. Gets busy when the high school is out. I have never eaten anything there that I didn't like and they are reasonably priced and you definitely a good value for what you pay .

Kid-friendliness: Small place but always friendly and welcoming. They have a variety of food so if you have a kid that wants a burrito, another that wants a hambuger and you want chicken teriyaki than this is the place for you. All of the different options are definitely good and makes for an easy one stop shop for a family.“

Service was on point, attentive but unobtrusive. Food was equally impressive with presentation and flavor components. My Mom is not an easy guest, but she was satisfied with options and adaptability.
