“I wanted to try Matu based on a LA Times review - so on my next visit to Pasadena this past June, my daughter and I tried it - and yes, we LOVED it! It did take forever to get our order and they had run out of chips …. BUT, WOW! Everything about this sandwich was yummy - the bread, the beef, the cheese, the pepper! I always shop at Target when I’m in Pasadena, and walk by Matu. It’s only super busy at lunch and dinner time. So worth it! Did I say I’m originally from Philly? You’ll love it too!“

Also do yourself a favor and get the peach lemonade, it’s outstanding! Also the fries with the Cajun seasoning were cooked to perfection. It’s in the mall food court, so seating is easy and abundant.“
