I went in to purchase treats for a friend for Lunar New Year. The self serve bakery area was fun. You pick up a tray and walk past the individually wrapped bakery items and place what you want on the tray. Each item is clearly labeled and looked fabulous. Some were sweet and others were savory.I choose a few items that I thought my friend would like and one scallion bun for myself. I wish I had bought more to take home! JJ is one of my favorite soCal Asian bakeries of all time, if not the favorite. My family and I have come here for years. They are generous with their fillings, the overall taste is better than 85 degrees bakery in my opinion, and is more uniquely Taiwanese in some subtle ways. The quality of their baking is also very good in my opinion. Wonderful service!! All the workers are actually really nice and very friendly!! I definitely will come back over there again in Arcadia, California to buy more of their very delicious breads when I get the chance to!!! Five stars is exactly my total rating!!!!
