“Stopped by on my way to work for my first visit, and I’m officially hooked! Found easy street parking right out front and ordered using the kiosk inside. It has a small interior and there were a few customers inside, however the worker was very quick with all our orders! I got a tiramisu iced latte, a matcha pastry, and a ham & cheese croissant sandwich, all three for just $8! You can’t beat that price point, especially given the quality. The coffee had a distinct tiramisu flavor, the pastry was perfectly balanced, and the sandwich was warm and crispy. Definitely going back!“

“Great boba chain with consistent drink quality. I visited the store near Lunar new year time and was given red envelopes with mu purchase. I went to pick up my fav drinks with them, which are mango pomelo sago and winter melon milk tea with grass jelly!“

“I had a tooth that was giving me the worst pain over the weekend. I called on Monday early afternoon and was able to be seen the same day. Crystal the dental assistant was great! She told me Dr. Ramirez would make sure I didn’t feel any pain. I ended up having to have 2 teeth extracted and with no pain at all. I have a new Dental office! Great job ladies 😁“

“Angelenos have been debating this since time immemorial, so I’m happy to put it to rest: the best waffles in metro Los Angeles are at Russell’s in Pasadena. Also they validate parking. I can’t sit here and look you in the eye and tell you I value parking validation as much as I do delicious waffles, but middle age makes a confounding creature out of all of us and so here I am saying it’s darn close. Anyway, if you’re looking for waffles near old town, or if you’re somewhere else and have a reasonable means of transport to Old Town, or if you’re just sort of having this debate theoretically and have no practical waffle-procuring intentions, Russell’s is your spot.“

“Had a fantastic experience at Aloha Stacks! The Hawaiian-inspired food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The Loco Moco and Ube Coconut Pancakes were especially delicious, and everything had a satisfying homemade feel. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. A great spot in El Monte for a hearty breakfast or Hawaiian-style comfort food—definitely worth coming back!“

“Shared this wonderful tea spot with my lovely wife because I was craving egg waffles and this is one of the best spots to try them.

Upon entering, the store was moderately busy, staff said that their kiosk wasn't working due to power outage, no Wi-Fi, thus their entire system wasn't working. For this specific visit only, it was cash only which was understandable because it was a super hot day. Regardless, this time visiting was even better than all the other times I've visited despite the small obstacles.

My wife and I ordered the Osmanthus Green Milk Tea & the Taiwan Alpine Milk Tea along with two sets of egg waffles, one original & one matcha filled.

Total wait time was about 20 minutes as the egg waffles were made fresh and came out later than the two drinks which came out in about 5 minutes.
One thing I never really noticed until this time around is that the staff would occasionally bring you the order regardless if you're dining in or taking it to go, a nice gesture by the staff.

The two drinks were perfect on a super hot day, super refreshing and could definitely tell that the tea is freshly made, not too sweet with the right sugar adjustments, we usually default to 50% sugar.

I absolutely love the cups, one of the better cups around as it's super sturdy, and non-spillable. Best part is the cute design that displays the texture of the drink extremely well. This is the only tea shop that I visited that has a straw holder section on their cap (SEE PIC) for reference. This is unique and very much a nice gimmick to the cup.

EGG WAFFLES WERE AMAZING. Couldn't tell if it was my egg waffle craving or it was just that good. Freshly made, super crunchy and soft, and each piece savored was another step to amazing quality on such a popular style of snack. Absolutely love the portions, very much a shareable snack.

The matcha egg waffle is a must try if you like matcha, it didn't overpower the egg waffle taste itself and had that balance between the egg, matcha, and the waffle itself.
Super tasty and highly recommend the original and the matcha.

Overall, one of my favorite tea shops to go to with plenty of tea options, snacks, and seating as many visit here to study, hangout, and enjoy quality snacks. Love that I was able to share this place with my lovely wife.“
