“What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! This great little place is located in the CVS shopping center on Hollywood Way and Verdugo.“

“Luna Grill was looking real clean when I walked in, so off to a good start. Ordered the chicken and beef kabob plate...solid portion for the price. Flavors were nice, but the beef leaned a little salty. Now, about those metal chairs… rock hard. Felt like I was sitting on a slab of concrete. A little padding wouldn’t hurt. Food was good, though, so I’d come back...just maybe seat on the booth next time.“

“Stopped in here today and glad we did. This is a very comfortable open air patio restaurant with outstanding food.

My wife had the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef plate. They were very tasty. Even the rice was very flavorful. My favorite was the beef shish kabob. It was tender with really good flavor.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

“Delicious sandwiches/wraps. My group tried the bens way gyro and the chicken delight. She made the meal as fast as she could and they turned out great. The large pita and hummus wasnt available at the time, so she made the medium. The pitas and hummus were top notch. Competitive pricing for sandwiches of this quality in the area.“

“Definitely a go to place for comfort food! It was my first time to go here with my girlfriends and their happy hour is worth it! Since then I kept coming back or order delivery. My favorite is the gyro combo with some sweet potato waffle fries. Don't forget the garlic aoli sauce (thank me later ;D)“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. Even the rice is completely different and cooked to perfection. The food is amazing, the restaurant is very clean, and the service is excellent. A special shout-out to the cashier — she’s very kind and professional, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Olive Paper if you want real quality Persian food!“

“Came on a Saturday to enjoy Mediterranean BBQ. Staff was amicable, a little slow in serving and taking orders and came to our table with someone else's order. I would highly recommend they do a number system (assign table number to customers for staff to reduce confusion). It was decent food, spices and grilled veggies were good. Chicken was a little thick and hard to cook all the way through those meats. Steak was a bit dry. Seasoned fries and hummus, Pita bread was good. Ambiance was settle, no music or noises. A little pricy but portions are good. Clean establishment. Parking can be a little tight in the parking lot.“

“I was in town traveling for work and stopped into Bacari Sherman Oaks for dinner. As a party of one, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, where I ended up having an excellent experience. I struck up a conversation with the bartender, Skyler, who was not only super friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu.

Since it was my first time there, I asked Skyler to choose the dishes for me and he absolutely nailed it. Every plate was on point.

Highly recommend Bacari for anyone visiting the area and if you can, grab a seat at the bar and let Skyler take care of you. You won't be disappointed!“

I’ve been eating Mediterranean food since a kid and this is definitely my go to spot now. The price and portions and quality are the absolute best! Highly recommend :)“

“Got there right at closing time with our online order mistakenly scheduled for the next day, and manager Juan and server Vanessa could not have been more gracious and professional in how they handled the situation. They rallied to make sure I got the wrap I ordered for my son, and I am extremely grateful for the team taking the time to make him a delicious meal even after all the food was put away for the night. “If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My husband and I love trying new places. We found this place on the hunt for the best khinkalis. We visited the actual store front first. The woman helping us could not have been more helpful, patient, and kind. I do sometimes look a bit Armenian which leads people to assume I can speak Armenian or Russian which is always a good laugh. She made excellent suggestions and gave us a very accurate timeframe of how long it would take to prepare. Since then we have ordered via UberEats 2x more and each time things were EXPERTLY packaged - literally the nicest to-go bag and perfectly portioned condiments. We were blown away. The food itself is so flavorful and the ingredients are high quality and you can tell they take pride in what they do.“

“The cashier was rude , I asked her if they sold carne asada fries. She pointed to the menu. I said it only says nachos. She replied " no" our Antonio's nachos are fries. How would I know that! I'm not a regular customer. And with that type of customer service surely I will not be a regular customer.“

“After the 4th restaurant in Tujunga failed to make good Shawarma, I thought I would have to drive all the way to Glendale for the only good Shawarma I know, that I get from a food truck. I didn't know Shawarma House existed until today. The dine in place is nice and spacious, the service was kind, and for the first time in Tujunga that I know of, this a restaurant that didn't serve dry wraps with no garnishes.“

They used to do onion rings back in the day but they're not on the menu. I wonder what happened because I used to love them

But the food here is straight up. Amazing! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but what introduced me to this place was their burgers which are just incredible. I just got one after so long and I just couldn't help but notice that it looks like the Real life version of the Krabby Patty

“We were looking for a quick bite before an event and happened to spot this cozy little place. We hadn’t read any reviews and had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be a great find! The couple who runs it was warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich combo—so good! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu next time I’m in the area.
