“The perfect meal to break my daily intermittent keto fast. I eat the salad bowls, sub grilled veg for the hummus and I'm relatively carb free. Carbs from the plants but no processed or concentrated carbs from sugar, seeds or beans. Fresh flavorful ingredients, rich flavors and very satisfying. Nice self serve sauce bar with seasoned yogurt, a dill ranch and good hot sauce similar to a mild harissa. Fills me up, satisfies me and then start the timer on the next 24 hrs.“

I was shocked to find out that they use organic products as well, this is so rare to find nowadays. Living in Italy for many years I’ve struggled to find a pizzeria that matches the pizza I was used to eating. Every pizza I have eaten outside of Italy usually results in disappointment and left over dry crust. With this pizza I am left with happiness and the crust is just WOW, I crave more. Their khachapuri is the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had my fair share living in Glendale) and they have incredible salads (caprese really brings me back to Italy) and sandwiches (turkey is my go to) as well. Driving away, on the way to an appointment, and then realizing that your order is wrong is THE WORST. Fortunately, staff was proactive about a resolution. One star docked for the atmosphere because it has a slightly grimy vibe. I’m sitting at a “cleaned” table right now, and it has a coffee stain on it. Plus the communal seating is—well—communal. I’d rather eat in the comfort of my car without the leery eyes of strangers who have food dangling from their overstuffed mouths. 5 stars for the staff: The staff here is super kind.

Oh, one other thing: you can’t pay with a $100 bill. I thought they would surely have change during the lunch rush, but no such luck. Had to go order lunch at Gelson’s that day.“
