“My mom and I had been driving all day and pulled into Hoagies about 2 minutes before closing time. We asked CJ and Taylor if it would be possible to still order some food. They said they were happy to do so! Then we told them they we both have celiac disease and asked if they could give us something gluten free. They both went out of their way to read labels for us and even asked if we would like to have corn tortilla strips on our salads instead of croutons (which are not gluten free). “Old Slo catered mine and my husbands wedding on September 24, 2022. They delivered and served amazing, quality food. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their service! Not only does Old Slo provide great service and food but they are also reasonably priced. We are so happy we had old Slo cater our wedding.“

“Pretty good food and it came out fast. Nice big portions too! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. They also have some on site parking, so you don't have to fight for a public parking spot. I would recommend this place. Got for the baby back ribs. That meat falls right off the bone.“

“Poor customer service. Sat down, no one bothered to come to my table to take my order. It wasn't busy either. She was hiding in the back. Only came out when a customer walked in to order at the counter.She chose to help the walk in orders instead. Looked right at her when she did that!!! and still ignored me. I left, will not go back because of it.“

“OMG, that chicken sandwich was crazy delicious! We're definitely going to start getting those sandwiches routinely. The service was great. She was very nice. We've been coming to Avila Barn for decades but yesterday was the first day we ever tried the Chicken Shack & Smokehouse. It won't be the last!“

“The burrito was really good full of fresh veg and did not get a stomach ache. The salsa was hot as heck but tasty I just needed half a container. The liquor store is about average pricing for a liquor store. Which is about a dollar upcharge to a grocery store. The convenience makes it worth it.“
