“Finally tried La Parrilla Taqueria after many many people recommended it. I can say it is worth the hype! The service is really incredible and friendly, the cashier asked follow up questions to clarify our order and it helped avoid any miscommunication. The food was delicious and as close to authentic as you can get in AG. I had the Torta Jersey which was a great balance between the three proteins is comes with (carnitas, ham, and pastor) while still having the yummy taste of the other toppings like the jalapeños and sour cream. We also tried their barbacoa fries which were very tasty and a wonderful portion and their barbacoa quesadilla. It came with its consomé and it honestly packed a lot of flavor in every bite! They have salsa and chips on the side and although the salsas are not spicy they are very flavorful. I highly recommend!“

“I recently ordered a gift basket from Peacock Winery for a friend’s wedding, and I have to say, it was absolutely stunning! The basket was beautifully put together and really captured her style—it was the perfect gift for her big day! Peacock has such a cool “locals only” vibe. It’s one of those hidden gems you’d only find if you take the back roads, and it’s definitely worth the trip. The venue is gorgeous, and their wine is top-notch. The staff was super friendly and really made the whole experience enjoyable. “Excellent! My daughter and I ate there. It was her first time….my second. Delicious and fresh. Everything tasty. Not a fan of the Saffron spice in the rice but still delicious. I like to eat outside in their little courtyard. We ate and listened to the music playing across the street. A must try if you are craving Mediterranean cuisine. ??

Parking: Street parking if the Village is not too busy as well as a large public parking lot behind the buildings (has a walk through sidewalk from parking to courtyard/entrance to Jaffa).“

“We were just traveling through and stumbled upon this pizza place. We were pleasantly surprised with our vegetarian pizza. Great variety of veggies and super stringy cheese! Counter attendant was friendly and knowledgeable about the foods offered. Great place.“

The waiter came to the table numerous times inquiring if we are enjoying our meal and if we needed any additional items. A definite place to return to. The location is within downtown Arroyo Grande with other businesses within walking distance. There is public parking in the rear of Gina's. Enjoy the bridges and the wandering roosters in the parking area.“

“Took my mom for lunch. I ordered daily special of lobster chile relleno which came with rice, and it was absolutely delicious. Mom had seafood salad croissant and she loved it. Generous servings and good service. Will definitely be back“

“Good price for decent pizza but we got delivery and they forgot 2 of 4 pizzas. They refunded what they missed but we still had to pay all the delivery fees again to get the order to us.

“"LIFE'S TOO SHORT . . . HAVE A BLAST!" Well, I certainly did. I discovered this establishment while on a trip to the San Luis Obispo area (combination of business and pleasure). My lawyer, Barry, and I decided to give it a try for lunch. Great selection of microbrews; always a plus. I had a couple pints of one their own IPAs. Barry just had iced tea. He doesn't drink; says it hinders his judgment on the job. In addition to representing me, he also aids in the evictions of apartment tenants who are several months late with their rent. (I've noticed a lot of them seem to be single mothers with at least three kids, but I digress.) We split the Chili Cheese Waffle Fries for a starter. Loaded with chili with the right balance of spice and heartiness to it. On top of that, it didn't give me any digestive issues! Excellent burgers here. I had the Jalapeno. Half-pounder and Angus, the way it should be. Barry had a Margherita Pizza, which I thought strange coming after chili cheese fries. He said it was a lot better than the one he had at Northern Italiano a few weeks back when meeting with another client of his named Lance. Our server, Amanda, was exceptional. Just the right amount of EYE CONTACT. Regularly CHECKED UP on us, but not to the point of intrusiveness. I emphasize those points because a lot of servers today don't understand that eye contact and checking up on the customer are indispensable components to providing quality service.
