“You know, Korean style chicken has evolved over the past decades in Korea itself and the market’s saturated with many brands more popular than Pelicana, but Peicana was one of THE original brands known for their spicy seasoned chicken (yang nyum)

I have not tried any other Pelicana locations, and I have no particular comment for their regular fried chicken, but the spicy original seasoned chicken at this particular Artesia location is VERY good with generous sauce on the bottom of the box to dip in any portions that you want more of it on. My hubby says it tastes just like what he used to have back in the days (tho he is more of a Kyo chon consumer in Korea, but here in the States this is his favorite). So I would say (for those who like ‘em of course) just get the original spicy seasoned chicken and you won’t fail. Plus the lady who runs the place is very, very nice — three times we bought from her though she doesn’t seem to remember (-;“

“Servers were so kind and sweet and always had a really bright smile, I’m mainly writing this review because the servers were so nice to us! The meat is also very high quality and fresh, the galbi, rib fingers, and the beef tongue were especially tasty. They also have free self serve ice cream as a desert after you’re finished eating. My mom was eating the ice cream outside the restaurant and one of the workers noticed she didn’t know where to throw it away and even took our trash for us after we left the restaurant. Really appreciate how sweet the workers were and how high quality the meat was, highly recommend coming here!“

“Great Ribeye! Slightly crispy on the outside and juicy throughout. Also had their homemade Apple Cider Sorbet which was so delicious!We sat in the booths so it was a very classy, cozy atmosphere. “Found this little billiard spot out of nowhere when I had nothing to do on a Sunday evening, and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere was really good, and the pool tables looked well-maintained and in great condition. Pricing wasn’t bad either, which made the experience even better.

The place could use a bit more modern decor, but overall it still had a nice vibe. The staff was great, always checking on us every so often and making sure we were good. She had a very friendly and approachable attitude that made us feel welcome.

“Love this place and I frequent it quite a bit now. Drinks are reasonable price, atmosphere is chill and sporty and bartenders are very attentive and always on point. Beer selection is nice and wide enough that I'm always having a diverse amount drinks from IPAs, blondes or whatever. Even the food is pretty nice. I usually recommend the fries.“

My niece and nephew when they come over always beg me to pick up from here. The woman behind the counter, Luna, always greets me with a smile and a cheerful attitude. Quite rare these days! After the menu change, I discovered that I loved chicken piccata there. However, it is never been as good as the first time; The chicken after the first time was always been kind of tough.
The admission is good, especially when they have live music. Unfortunately, I have been charged more for drinks than was advertised on the menu several times.“
