“First time here and did an improv trip down to try their wide matcha selection! From different matcha drink flavors to soft serve ice cream, there was a lot! I opt to try their OG stuff first so I went with their level 3 matcha latte in oat milk and their parfait to make my trip worth it! It didn’t disappoint me. It didn’t taste water down matcha that you’ll get at other stores that make matcha. But it’s not as rich tasting ask rok or maru coffee’s matcha to my preference. Overall still hit 10/10! Would come back to try their other matcha selections! Service was friendly and efficient so it made the overall experience more welcoming for a revisit!“

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. “My family frequent this place at least twice a week. We really enjoyed the regular like the Lavender Fields and Scarborough Fair latte plus the seasonal drinks like the Sakura and Marmalade latte. Staffs were always friendly and now there are an abundance amount of seating indoor and outdoor!“

We arrived with a few minutes to spare and the young man at the counter informed us that they had closed but we could still order whatever we wanted on the house. This has probably been the most top tier customer service we've experienced and will definitely come back (earlier) to try out other flavors.“

“WOW! What a wonderful experience! Five stars on every thing. Our party of four enjoyed a relaxing fun afternoon. The décor was fun and lake a fantasy, There was so much to look at including a secret door to the party room. We started off with each of us receiving our own pot of tea. I ordered the Black Carmel, I loved it which is saying a lot considering I am picky about my tea. The tea pots are a good size, I believe I filled my cup three times. Then for the food, first was the scone. Oh my goodness the scone... it was beyond delicious and a good size. Next was the salad with a wonderful dressing. And then came out the master piece, two multi tiered china serving trays filled with five or six different types of sandwiches and a large array of beautiful mini deserts. It was all so beautiful and delicious. There flowers and berries adding to the beauty of it. And so much food we all had some to take home. We had the owner Elena as our server she has done a fantastic job creating an experience that you should not miss. If you have never been here you are truly missing out. Everything about it was wonderful. I look forward to going here again.❤“

“This is a really nice cafe in Downey. They have free wifi, many snacks and nice boba. The boba menu is great. The smoothie and fruit tea are nice too. I think the standard menu is a bit too sweet for me. The snacks are like frozen snacks and took out to fry. Staff was very nice. Clean restroom. Great vibes for working or chatting.“

It felt great to get such a warm welcome upon arrival as well. Jill was kind, so helpful going way above and beyond to make sure our time there was exceptional. I really enjoyed the British decorations and ambiance as well, it was a really nice touch. I have no complaints whatsoever, I highly recommend that people check this place out and find out why everyone is so pleased with the tea and service.“

“This coffee shop is really, really something special to the community. This cafe offers a safe, warm, electricity-available and WiFi-available place for students and groups to study, gather, play board games, etc.
Mon-Thurs & Sun: 11am-11pm

The owner has a big heart for the students here. Even though posted hours are until 11pm (later than 90% of coffee shops in the area), I have personally witnessed the owner sometimes extending the shop hours if there are lots of students studying. Doesn’t matter if people aren’t buying new drinks or new food. I’ve personally seen her keep the lights on an extra 30mins or 1hr sometimes. So when I say this place is a gem in this community I really mean it.

In addition, they have very decent prices for milk teas/coffee/comfort foods. I got tired of paying $7-9 for overly sugared drinks with no option to cut out the sugar. Many places don’t even have sugar-free coffee or teas. This place does. Here they have a really wide food menu too.

No cheap chairs, rickety/dilapidated tables, etc. The furniture they have here is comfortable for long study sessions or game nights. It’s not quiet, but it’s not overly loud. And it’s warm/cozy. Very chill place to study (if you can find a table). Electrical outlets to charge your devices. And great lighting and music. Restrooms in the back as well.

I drive 45 minutes to come here when I need a late night study or work session. Grateful for places like this.

Also…if this place is overfilled and you can’t find a seat, there’s a tea shop few stores down that’s open till 12am. Not a bad place to chill until seats open up here.“

“Tastea is usually great! I tried the banana coffee today and it was mid. Not enough banana flavor but that's my personal preference.. also the barista was annoyed that I changed my order (I hadn't paid for my drinks yet at the register and she started making my original drink order which I changed within a minute of standing at the register, anyway she rolled her eyes and made my banana coffee) I still tipped 20% because maybe she was having a bad day haha we've all been there! I'll stick to my usual house special which always slaps :)“

“TL;DR - I loved their new matcha lineup (super unique and good). The drinks here are pretty lol. Popcorn chicken and sticky chicken bites hit the spot. Charbroiled ribeye was very good too. And definitely ask for less sugar if that’s your usual!

I’ve been meaning to check this place out for a while, and I’m glad I finally did. Their menu is stacked for both food and drink, but the drinks are what really shine. They’re honestly some of the prettiest drinks I’ve seen (and yes, they taste as good as they look). The food was solid overall, and they’ve got all the classics you expect from a milk tea spot.

We tried the new matcha series and every single one was a tasty. The screaming strawberry matcha milk tea was super refreshing, and the cookie butter matcha ended up being my personal favorite—I’m weak for anything biscoff and this one was seriously delicious lol. The screaming blueberry matcha was really fun to try too. You don’t see blueberry matcha often, so that was cool and definitely worth getting if you love blueberry. Heads up: their drinks lean sweeter, so if you’re a “30–50% sugar” person, make sure to make that request here too.

Food-wise, I was excited they had popcorn chicken. You can’t go wrong with that. The sticky chicken bites were also tasty (a sweeter option). The standout for me was the charbroiled ribeye. I’m always a sucker for ribeye, and theirs did not disappoint.

Service was quick, the staff were super friendly, and the space has a chill vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating, good lighting, and it’s a nice spot to study or just hang out with friends.“
