“My daughter and I came here last week spur of the moment to get a quick bite. People were pleasant, quiche and cookie were delicious, and it was nice to sit and eat quickly without the long ordeal at a regular sit-down restaurant. If you want to sit down and have your quiche heated up there, it takes about 15-20 minutes for them to do that in the oven.“
“When I lived in Atascadero, Hush Harbor was the place to go to get the best croissants in the county. The Black Forest ham croissant in the morning sold out quick. If you're fortunate enough to get one, you'll love it! A croissant that is flaky beyond comparison. I've lived in Central Oregon for 4 + years and have not found a better croissant than those at Hush Harbor. The quiche offerings are quite tasty too!“
“Great Sourdough! I have been buying Brian's Sourdough for years now (from restaurants in Morro Bay and Paso) and didn't even know that it came from here! The crust on the exterior is soft. It is a lot like a French bread, really. But the sourdough yeast starter they use is fantastic. It could be more 'sour' for my liking, but I can tell you that I have been trying to perfect sourdough from a 100 year old Sourdough starter which I obtained from San Francisco a dozen years ago, and I am still working on getting it this good. Brian's bread is a winner.“
“Such a cute place old pictures of Atascadero & Movie Stars very cozy. The food is so good there too I highly recommend this place. It cost 40 bucks for breakfast they give you plenty of food. I have enough leftover for breakfast tomorrow too. The staff is really friendly & they come check on you several times to see if you need more coffee or anything else.Parking: There is plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible right in front of the restaurant several handicap spots.“
“I went up to Atascadero to visit family this weekend and came across this bakery. Soon Saturday we decided to stop in and see what they had. Silly me asked if they had any specials like a Bakers Dozen, as if they were selling donuts. I felt embarrassed after I heard what I had asked but I couldn't take it back. I ended up buying only 8 pastries but the young man behind the counter still gave me a discount! Then just before leaving to come back home today we stopped in to buy more, so that we could bring some pastries home with us since they were so delicious! I got 10 pastries this time and I didn't ask any silly questions this time either. The young man once again helped me out by giving me free pastries. I will definitely be stopping there again when I visit again. The pastries are delicious and the service is great! This place is a great place to visit!“
“This is a cozy artist style café with fresh baked items and full coffee bar. They also have a breakfast and lunch menu available. - I ordered the chai tea latte with almond mylk. I t was yummy & I really appreciated the affordable pricing, the art that was displayed, and the welcoming staff. - The space looked a little bit sparse as far as pastries were concerned. I would love a few more vegan options.“
“Shout out to the best pretzel maker in the world. My tastebuds are jumping all around going crazy for more pretzel. They say go crazy for coco puffs, but I say go crazy for pretzels made by Riley Jones!!!!! Get in the zone for pretzels made by Riley Jones!!! Get them while you can…“
“I have to say that when my fiancé came home with a $50 cake for my daughter's 13th birthday I was not happy. I had never had a Tres Leches cake before and my other daughter said they are overly sweet and really soggy. Sounded terrible to me. I reluctantly took a slice to make my 13 yr old birthday girl happy and to not waste an expensive cake. I am not exaggerating when I say that their Tres Leches cake is the BEST cake I have ever had. It is perfectly balanced and the strawberries in the whipped cream filling are to die for. I have always loved strawberry shortcake with half and half poured on top and this cake reminds me of that. My only suggestion would be to have more strawberries but that just because I'm greedy and love strawberries. There are very few times we have finished a purchased cake but I am happy to say not one slice went to waste. You will not be disappointed with this cake! In case you can't tell, I Highly recommend.“
“A friend brought me gluten free donuts from here a few months ago. What a special treat! We happened to be visiting Atascadero today (from Santa Barbara), and I had to stop! I got a lavendar and a maple sprinkle gluten free donut. Yummmm! I am so grateful for this sweet spot!Dietary restrictions: Wonderful gluten free donuts!“
