“This little coffee shop is absolutely amazing. My wife and even my kids drive from Tulare, CA just to stop and say hi and grab a coffee (the blended Chai is our favorite) my wife and kids used to stop every day when they lived here and even now we make the drive for some. It's worth the short stop if you're passing through for some of the best coffee and friendliest service you will ever receive.“
“Fast and friendly service, although it's all automated it would be nice to have the option to verbally order. It's a very quiet and clean store. They're a teeny bit expensive being $5 a cookie but Ive seen places charge more so not too bad for the size you get. The biggest downside is they aren't very flavorful which was a bummer to discover after hearing all the hype. I'd say about 6/10 on the flavor, not the best but not the worst. All together it's worth the try Most likely will visit again!!“
“Sheep Trick A small one woman show that started in 2010 with a flock of sheep and a dream has blossomed into a four--and soon to be six!--scoop shops along the Central Coast and Idaho, of all places. Negranti Creamery was the first sheep ice cream milk producer in the US and is by far the most known one. Sheep milk might be the superior milk when it comes to consumption as, according to a University of Auckland study, more digestible than cow milk and has more protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals. The Good: *Located at Paso Robles' Tin City, and is the only real "food" brick-and-mortar location there besides the occasional food truck. *Friendly service *Ice cream flights are great for the indecisive, as well as those who want to try it all. *My son loved their ice cream cookie sandwiches and actually asked to go back a second time, which is unheard of for him. *Small outdoor seating area *Pricing is very reasonable *Vegan options available The Meh: *Flavors were mostly a bit too muted for our liking. I wish they were punchier, especially the lavender-blueberry, which seemed like a good combo, but fell flat in the flavor dept. The Ugly: *Maybe the ice cream was mishandled, but I found it to be grainy and not as rich in flavor as standard bovine ice cream. Conclusion: Overall, it was an interesting experience and worthy of a try. It's probably 3.5*, but since my son liked it, I'll bump it up to 4*.“
“They have the best ice cream here. They have the typical flavors, but they also have very creative flavors. I had a scoop of the strawberry basil ice cream. It was DELICIOUS! I also had a snip of the blueberry lavender ice cream. Who knew that these 2 flavors can go together. The blueberry and lavender ice cream was also delicious. It's unfortunate that it's so far from where I live. I will definitely be sure to visit this ice cream shop when I'm in town.“
“Cold Stone is still our favorite for ice cream. Located downtown Paso, next to the park and all the restaurants/shops, tucked between two restaurants, is Cold Stone. They have 3 tables inside and 2 tables outside to enjoy your ice cream. When you enter you are welcomed. There are many, many, many selections of ice cream, any way you can think of. I picked Dough Lightfull Peanut Butter. My daughter had a children's Boo Batter. They gave us a perfect amount of ice cream, right to the top. Mine was super soft, decadent, ultra creamy vanilla. Folded in was a scoop of peanut butter, cookie dough, and Reese's peanut butter cups! Chewiness and brown sugar from the cookie dough, went great with the creamy peanut butter and crunch of the Reese's peanut butter cups. It was heavenly. My daughter loved the black Boo Batter with the candy crunch added. Will be back soon!“
“WOW!!! Amazing customer service from Taleya!! What a an absolute gem!! She greeted us promptly and was so helpful! toppings are so much fun they have a little bit of everything!! The couch in the lobby is cozy the ambiance is clean and crisp very minimalistic but not sterile! will come back!“
“Delicious flavors in a tiny hole in the wall shop. Staff was super friendly (really only room for 1 staff member) and chatted casually while scooping. The flavors where delicious (Thai tea and a peanut-buttery chocolate one is what we got) and scooped high on a waffle cone. There is plenty of shady seating in the little plaza attached to the ancient owl brewery and the creamery shop, so I imagine it's a shared space. On a quiet Sunday no one had any objections to sitting in that area (we even got a drink after). The family that owns it has long roots in the area and the flavor selection was solid (usually 6 to 10). They had some really good looking frozen ice cream pies/cakes in a case as well.“
