One of the most iconic burger joints in Central California. Been coming here since I was a kid. The French Burger, Big Big Burrito, and Pastrami are as great as ever. Same with the crinkle cut fries. Same with the decor. Don’t miss it.
The nostalgic feeling . The recipe is still the same . Who ever thought of that famous French burger is a genius . It can only work because of the famous bread . Which is amazingly made in Bakersfield too!! That bread has won honors , well deserved honors. Way back in those days ( remember those good ol days! :-)
So really I was NOT DISAPPOINTED by the deliciousness

Some note the big burrito was not as good as expected, and the seating and sign could use updates. However, it is a Bakersfield classic everyone should try. It is family owned and operated by local people. It is recommended to visit the website and call the order ahead.
