“Small, a little hard to find... But ultimately th coffee was amazing ! I ordered the coconut latte which was made to perfection. The coffee was strong but sweet. The vibe is chill and relaxing. The service was fast and super friendly. This may be my new addiction. I would recommend more authentic pastries and /or foods. Platanos would be nice. Looking forward to my next visit“

“I am so fortunate to live nearby the Arizona Cafe, some of the best and most consistent menudo in town and personally the one restaurant I have been able to count on for good, simple menudo that is pretty close to what my abuelito used to make. Over 20 years it’s been the same simple indulgence that I have firmly come to know as a staple in my life. Really appreciate the simple food and the simple service even on busy Sunday brunch days. Thanks for being a cornerstone and my go to menudo spot since I was a kid. With or without a hangover, it’s very good.“

“I really enjoy going into the store and talking with everyone behind the counter. Yves has always greeted my dad and I with a smile and has always been very helpful. Also I can't leave out on just how wonderful the baked goods always are and especially the breakfast burritos!! Highly recommend sugar twist for your sweet tooth craving“

“After doing extra cardio lately..hiking, a boot camp this morning, and my regular training it was only right that my girl and I treated ourselves to something sweet after dinner
I’m a nighttime donut person, not a morning one, so most shops are usually low on inventory by then. I called around to a few places..some were honest, some… not so much. I even stopped by one before this spot, looked through the window, and they straight-up lied about what they had left. I didn’t even walk in
I called this place and asked about their inventory. She told me they had over half left. No chocolate (not an issue for me), and when I asked about fritters, she said they had a good amount. Sold.
I pulled up and ordered not one, not two, but TWELVE donuts. She even threw in two extra, which honestly felt like a reward after all the extra steps we’ve been getting in
My fiancée and I ended up eating there since the shop had this super cute, old-school vibe. The workers probably thought we were crazy, but I made sure to compliment them because that was hands down the best fritter I’ve had in Bakersfield
You’ll definitely see me back maybe even with a few of my gym bros. All I ask is that those fritters stay in stock… because they were PACKING

“I really like this place. And not just cause I moved into an apt across the street, lol...I haven't tried any of their lunch fare but they're breakfast burritos are always delicious! Make sure to say yes to salsa ( its not hot), and please take a minute to appreciate the delicious HOMEMADE TORTILLAS! The ladies are always friendly and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my food with it usually being closer to the 5 minute mark. Can someone please explain why a deli on 23rd and 24th is called the 34th Street deli?? 🤔“
